Serenity - This movie was VERY good. The special effects were absolutely incredible, and the whole plotline was very well thought out. I loved the mix of space age/Asian stuff alongside the sort of pirate-y dialogue, it blended very well. When I think about it, this movie had everything! smurf martial arts, swearing in Chinese, pirates, shooting, conspiracy...It's like one of my roleplays x)

If you didn't know, Serenity is based off the 2002 television show Firefly; I definitely recommend watching it if you liked Serenity. It was cancelled early because Fox is made of morons (despite popular belief, it did air on Fox, not NBC) so there's only 14 episodes (3 of which never got released). You could probably buy the box set off Amazon for around $30 USD. I think you'd love it.

Sorry for off topic, wanted to go on about the best television show of all time.

Just Like Heaven: Corny, but I liked it. Typical chick-flick, but I love chick flicks. Jon Heder was ok, but I don't think he's funny, just...stupid. I love Reese though.

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Better than I'd expected. And now I crave White Castle burgers :)

Waiting- I thought it was pretty funny. I love Ryan Reynolds and he's just so great in these sort of roles. Definetly want to see him in more roles where he's shirtless though heh... <3
Anywho... it's one of those crude rude movies and it does it very well.

I just watched a movie called Krull, a fantasy movie made in 1983 in which a prince must save his soon-to-be wife from an evil villain, thoughtfully called "The Beast", and he goes on this long quest through perils and bad eighties special fx and meets characters that will help him along the way. Some memorable characters were Obe Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Han Solo with his band of...bandits, and Fflewdur Fflam. No wait... they were Ynyr, Princess Lyssa, Torquil, and Ergo. But close enough.

Despite that however, I couldn't help but love it. It brought back fond memories of the corny action and adventure movies you couldn't help but love as a kid because you didn't know better. It was perhaps the most cliche movie I'd ever seen but somehow that hearkened back to fairy tales with damsels in distress, heroes that brave the ridiculously frightening and the frighteningly ridiculous, wise old men with prophecies and visions, a bumbling sorcerer who won't get it right till the end, and the obligatory giant spider monster. I mean you gotta love it.

I believe the last movie I watched was French Kiss. It may not have been, but I am going to comment on it anyway.

French Kiss is the 1995 Romantic Comedy starring Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline. Kate (Ryan) is engaged to Charlie (Timothy Hutton). She is very close to him and his family. Charlie goes on vacation to Paris, France and meets a french woman named Juliette. He falls in love with her and calls Kate from Paris to tell her he can't marry her. This makes Kate very upset so she decides to fly to Paris so she can get Charlie back. On the plane she meets Luc (Kline) a charming French Man with a knack for stealing. He decides to use Kate to smuggle a necklace into France. He follows her along France as she tries to win back Charlie. They slowly fall in love...want to know what happens next? You'll have to watch the movie to find out!

The Truman Show

I've seen it before but just recently bought the DVD.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE.
I don't care what anyone says but Jim Carrey can act his behind off. He is absolutely amazing in more dramatic like roles.
The movie is funny and heartwarming and just great. I highly recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it :D

Saved!

Hilarious movie. Who knew Caulken can play a likeable character in a movie that isn't "Home Alone?"

Haves you seen Amores Perros? Features a very 'classy' way of getting someone to sleep with you..

Terribly overrated film. Though Patrick Swayze's casting is genius.

No, but does it have the same chick in it? She was hot!
