the Maraquan Pteri.

The Island Ogrin is "meh." Actually, I'm not very fond of it at all, which is a pity, because I was looking forward to that particular Ogrin color. It looks rather dull for an Island pet.

Eh, they've still got Faerie, Darigan, Maraquan, and Mutant to sort out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those four colors....

Edit: Actually, when I look at it on the Neopets server, it doesn't look that bad at all. Maybe the blue PPT background just made it look duller.

it isnt a parrot fish... i with they DID do it off of a parrot fish... not because a pteri is a bird and a parrot is a bird, but because parrot fish are cool! but they did a nice job... it still slightly resemblesa pteri.. not just a fish with a beak. ill accept it.

Well, isn't there a Maraquan pet based off a parrot fish already?

Anyway, my opinion seems to be the opposite of everyone else's. I don't really care for the Pteri, but I like the Island Ogrin (which is something, since I don't really like Ogrins in general). It's a bit busy for my taste, but it's well-done.

The Maraquan Bruce is based off a specific species of Boxfish, which has the same coloration. Boxfish are basically pufferfish that can't inflate and have tough, angular bodies.

Haha! That makes me laugh. It's been like 5-6 times I've looked over the Ettaphant stuff and browsed past the pirate one, but never questioned it being called Gray.

That Tyrannian Ettaphant is extremely cute though. Now I'm torn if I ever get a Tyrannian lupe whether to give it a fluffy Mutant Bearog or one of those.

The pteri slightly reminds me of the bruce. Must be the beak...

I like it, it just looks like it has a huge.. hump on its back. I'd like it if it was a little more thin

I KNEW I NOTICED THAT SHAPE FROM SOMEWHERE!
And I was watching the Westminster Dog Show last night. I should have realized it then. In my own defense I only watch the hound group and root for the Basset Hound first and the Bloodhound second :-)

Also I just adopted a Pteri for a lab pet, perhaps I should wait until the marapteri is released and see if I can get that. :-)
