I had to look up porridge because I wasn't sure if it was oatmeal.

I like it with brown sugar and honey. It also makes good oatmeal cookies. :D

If porridge=oatmeal, then cinnamon and raisins and a bit of honey or apples and cinnamon :)

I too had to look up porridge since I didn't know what constitutes it. :P

I've only tried two types of "porridge"- oatmeal and rice congee (the Chinese kind). Well, I rarely ever eat either of these for breakfast, and I really don't like oatmeal at all. But rice congee, I like either as egg/rice congee, with Bovril, or with various meats. The best would be with Chinese donuts. It's the only thing my stomach can stand when I'm sick too, so that's nice.

Man, I love porridge! I'm going to make some tomorrow. I have mine with brown sugar :)

I was going to say something about salt! A pinch of salt makes porridge 1000x times better. Really. I only found this out a year ago, and my porridges have been awesome since :D

I usually have mine with... wait. This is a breakfast item. You people are actually up in time for breakfast!

Well, the last time I ever had a porridge-like substance, it was most likely untampered with since I don't like adding condiments.
