Draik or Krawk?

#1 Post by Pardona »

It just dawned on me, that with the 4-Plushie account I'm pursuing, I'm eventually going to need one of them to be completely immune to random colour-changing events (Boochie, Invisible, Colour-Splash) as my active pet. Now, if I'm not mistaken, the Krawk and Draik are both immune to Boochie and I think the other two as well, no? So I was thinking, which one should I pick up as my active pet - the Krawk or the Draik. Of course, this is a very (very) long-term goal, but I like to plan things out. I like the Plushie Krawk somewhat more than the Plushie Draik (more colour diversity, less morose look), but a Krawk costs almost twice what a Draik Egg costs. So, any opinions?

The Krawk is immune to Boochi, but the Draik is not.

Every pet is vulnerable to the color-splash and invisible random events.

Well, I guess that settles matters pretty quickly. Unless, off, Course, they would happen to release a baby Krawk in the near-future. And every pet is vulnurable to the Invisible and Colour-Splashing Events? Gee, talk about major sucking...

They aren't going to release a Baby Krawk, because the equivalent of the Baby Krawk is the Krawk petpet.

Krawks only cost more than draiks if you get them from a petpet - I believe the krawk transmogrification potion is a fair bit cheaper than a draik egg/transmog :)

Krawk trans is currently 1.8mil.

Krawks do not yet have an invisible one, so right now it is safe from that as well.

Nobody forget the blue/red random events. ALL of them are susceptible to those.

Unless you spend 145np sticking it in a motel for a month, and playing with it for 3mins once a week.

Hey, thanks for the hint! that's indeed a lot of money I'm saving. What? Almost 3 mil? More than pays for the PPB. :)

Since you can't get a random event if you're not on, you can pretty safely just stick your active pet in the cheapest Neolodge for one night every few days (or every time you're on) to keep it fed. A petpet will keep its happiness from going down much, even if it is hungry.

I think Krawks are cooler than Draiks anyway, and it does seem like they're likely to retain their Boochi immunity.

I tend to like the Plushie Draik just a little bit more than the Plushie Krawk. Just my own personal preference. I don't worry too much about the color-changing events because in all of my (almost) 5 years on Neo, I have never had one of those events. I guess I'm just lucky o_O
