Ugh....Everyone seemed awful last night. I hope the guys are at least a little more...Active?

-wants Brenna off- She irritates me. Muchly.

The American Idol last night was by far, in every episode from every season I've watched, the most boring.

My bets on leaving: Kinnik (nice voice, not for that song) and either Brenna or Heather.

Agreed, I've seen every season... and I don't know, the performances were just boring and went on too long. I still like Kellie and Paris, but I don't think any of the girls really stand out that much or are 'star quality.'

God, Brenna bugs the crap out of me. She better be going, I hate her conceitedness and poses and stuff, she doesn't even have a good voice.

Who I think should go (and hopefully will go):

1. Brenna
2. Heather

I agree with everything that's been said about last night's performance show. No one stood out except for (surprisingly) Melissa McGhee, and she is now a new favorite, although I'm afraid her chances of getting into the Top 12 are low indeed. I'm hoping she makes it in instead of Ayla but, well... I dunno.

Brenna and Heather/Kinnik will probably be leaving tomorrow.

I find myself looking forward to Taylor's performance tonight, as well as Chris and Ace's. The guys had better deliver after the catastrophe that was last night.

Welp... the guys tonight were far FAR more entertaining than the girls. Not all of them.. but a few.


Taylor- He wasn't terrible, but I don't think it was a good song for him. I LOVE that song and he just got offkey alot and that constant "WOO" thing he kept doing was a bit annoying. I know.. he was getting into the song.. but just bring those down to a few and it's all good.

Elliot- By far the BEST tonight. OMG that guy can sing his butt off!! Just listening to the tempo of that song... that's gotta be one hard song to sing and he did it flawlessly. I absolutely love his voice and boy definetly knows how to use it.

Ace- Boring and not good. He did so much better last week. This week... he didn't pick a good song.

Bucky- Didn't watch the entire performance. Truthfully.. I didn't want to. I heard what song he was singing and just nuh uh. Plus I just don't like that scratchy thing he does with his voice.

Chris- I HATE that song but I LOVE his voice and his awesome stage presence. God I just hate that song.... but he was great. He does oversing a bit but he still sounds spiffy.

David- Only caught a little bit of his performance and it wasn't very good. I think if he had a couple more years of voice lessons he would be awesome though. But right now... he's not good enough.

Gedeon- I don't like his overinflated ego... but boy can really sing. His deep voice and the way he sings is really shocking considering he's only 17? He's one of the better singers this season, he just needs to tone down the tude some.

Sway- Ya know.. he's not bad.. but he's not good either. He's pitchy as all get out but when he does hit certain notes you get an idea of what he would sound like if he could just stay in tune. He just can't stay onkey for the life of him though.

Kevin- SO funny with the Chicken Little thing since my brother nicknamed him that BEFORE they even said anything about it.. which was hilariuos.
And that whole sex symbol thing was just too funny. He sings just alright though. He's also one that could really benefit from a few years of training.

Will- Boring boring.. safe... boring and boring. He has a good voice but like Ayla.. it just doesn't do anything for me.

I don't like Taylor Hicks.

I really really really do not like him. His is the only performance i've seen tonight. But man. I don't like it. I don't like him. (gonna watch the rest of the performances now). DO NOT LIKE THAT MAN.
Can't say why. Don't know. Just don't like it. And if he wins, i'm swearing off Idol.

The show tonight was better than last night, but not by much. There were still only 2 really good performances and another 2 that were decent. The rest, not up to par.

The two fantastic performances of the night were:

Elliot: Man, what a voice he's got. I didn't realize it during the Hollywood week, but this week, he blew me away even more than last week.

Chris: He knows how to blow too in his style of music. I used to listen to bands like Fuel quite a bit and in the past several years I've gotten into other styles of music and further away from singers like Chris. But listening to him brings me right back into it. He would make a great front man for a band.

The other two decent performances tonight were:

Taylor: I think he's a good performer. Not the greatest song tonight. I think he needs to go back to more soul, more Ray Charles. That's what he's good at. Tonight was just okay for him.

Gideon: He's a good performer too. The beginning of the song was rocky, but he got it together toward the end and made me realize that he has a good voice when he gets into it.

I'm interested to see the results tomorrow night because I could honestly live without the other 6 guys.

Now, as many of you know, I am a diehard Chris Daughtry fan. I love the guy. But I have to say that when Simon said that his perfomance was the only "real" performance, I thought he was supremely wrong. I'm not actually a fan of Elliott, but day-um, he did excellent last night. The performance was pretty real if you ask me.

Looking forward to Carrie's performance of her single on the results show. Bo, I hear, will perform next Thursday.

Ahem. I love Taylor. I want him to win, although I know he won't. He's just so incredibly odd that you have to at least respect him for getting this far. Realisticly, though, I think it's Paris or Chris. Or maybe Elliot, he's definitely got the best voice. He just looks really odd.

I dont think Taylor will win either, he doesnt have the "look" or the voice of a pop star. Maybe something else though. I just don't know what. He's a little older too.

Elliot or Ace might take it, Elliot because the judges love him, Ace because he has looks on his side. Only one male has won thus far, so that could play a factor.. maybe a guy will win this year.

Mandisa should do Gospel or maybe classical music. R&B even?

The results tonight were spot on. Anyone agree?

...And Carrie's technically great (I won't go into her stage presence problem) performance made clear the sad fact that there is not ONE girl in the competition right now that can blow us all away with her voice like she can. And I'm not even a Carrie fan, I was a die-hard Bo fan last year.

Not surprised at all who went home.

And seriously... WTH was up with Paula?
She was doped up as all get out!!!! Good freakin lord she made a total idiot out of herself tonight.

I loved that Ryan was actually telling her to act serious. I mean there her stupid butt was making those jokes.. or at least trying to in her doped up haze...... when those people are about to get their dreams shattered.

I agree with 3/4 of the people who went home, but I think honestly that Kinnik should have gone home instead of Brenna. The former did really awful on Tuesday- being a fan of that song, she murdered it. She doesn't have the right kind of voice to sing it. The latter, even though I dislike her voice, did better in my honest opinion.

Well, we all knew they were both not going to make the Top 12; it's just a matter of who gets out first. I think it's pretty clear who the Top 6 girls are going to be at this stage.
