Doogal/Noil

#1 Post by genies_mystery »

i've been meaning to post something about this for a while now but havent gotten around to it till now.

is it just me or does the main animal from the movie doogal, whos name happens to be doogal, look a lot like the petpet niol. i know that doogal is a dog, but still they look way to close. could it all just be a coincidence?

sorry i couldnt post any pics, hopefully someone else with a lil more talent can provide us with some pics to compare the 2 with.

Dougal has been around for donkeys ears! Magic Roundabout was a very popular childrens show ages ago and was recently adapted into a film :)

Yes, it is probably meaningless. Although, the spooky petpet "drugal" is probably meant to be an evil petpet dougal reference.

Hahaha yeah the Magic Roundabout series was created in the 1960's/1970's. I love the characters, I've loved them ever since I was really little, and have always followed the show. So if anything, Neopets got the ideas from the Magic Roundabout, which I personally think is super-cute :)

That's all it's meant to be. A similar name and base concept.
