Ugh... I can't wait for the freakin old team to LEAVE.

They're so senile and bumbling. Annoying annoying annoying.

Also can't wait for Bearded Phil Lookalike guy and his wife to get eliminated.

And stupid hispanic mom and daughter team. Sorry but that whole pool thing where the dumb mom was freakin out and being a total moron just ticked me off too much.

Yeah, what Wanda and Desiree did was a stupid decision. I mean, they're at a swimming pool and the clue clearly suggests that they're gonna be doing some diving. I do admire how Desiree didn't once chide her mom, but still, that could've all been prevented.

Eric/Jeremy and Danielle/Dani are annoying me even more now. Even more annoying was how Eric/Jeremy and Lake/Michelle lucked out by just following Ray/Yolanda- and how this isn't the first time they follow instead of find the way themselves.

Lake reminds me of...oh, who was that couple who ended up on Dr. Phil? Jonathan and Victoria? Ugh. And I wish that "no running, no yelling" rule at the cathedral would apply to him for the whole race.

Heh, I really liked the nesting doll challenge. Annoying on not just one level, but two! That music would've driven me crazy, not just the dolls.

Oh, I knew this had to be a double-ep leg. When the clue after the detour wasn't even acquired by 6:45, and when "pit stop" wasn't mentioned, I knew something was up. :P

Haha... I didn't even think THAT far ahead...
Definitely agreeing with you on the doll w/in a doll part... oh my what a headache that must've been. Although I dunno... the music WAS kinda fun for my tastes. Haha. ;P

Although I have to say that Southern team (you know the guy with that thick southern accent) he's getin' on my ultimate nerves. Eergh!

Graa. I can't decide whether it was Danielle/Dani or Wanda/Desiree that deserved more to be kicked off. They were following each other at some point in time.

And Eric and Jeremy, augh! They pretty much won this leg because of what happened last ep when they were following Ray and Yolanda. Yes, I have something against following. :P But to their merit, they actually did something themselves when they managed to wriggle off BJ/Tyler and Lake/Michelle.

Oh, did anyone see that moment in the taxi where BJ/Tyler were talking about Phil, then "PHIL" flashes on a building? They're totally gipping Philips right there. XD

The roadblock was another cheap product placement. Bleh.

But I loved the detour and the Mercedes thing though (that seemed a little product placementish to me, but at least that's famous in Germany, unlike Travelocity). I wanna try going up that wall... Oh, and I loved how they brought out the frustrating music again with the breaking bottles task. I was quite surprised how almost none of the teams in the beginning wanted to take the dancing one. It seemed considerably easier.

What else today...Lake still drives me nuts, and the old folks aren't bothering me as much. Also, did anyone notice how BJ and Tyler went to the pit stop without their bags or their gnome? I wonder how that got past the crew. O_o

Twas elimination, and Wanda/Desiree was The Last team to arrive (tm).

Umm... lets see. The Benz thing was awesome!
And I think we have a nice "better-hurry-up-on-the-roadblock" music theme going. I'm personally liking it ;)

I dunno. What else to say. I guess One Kiss for the lover boys... Blech.

I love Dave and Lori. I hope the "freak-out" Lori has next week isn't that bad.

I really hate Lake and Michelle. I think he lived out his fantasies when he hit her over the head with a bottle. Seriously, if we have another Southern person murder his wife, I'm betting it's Lake.

Ugg.. Lake and Michelle are really annoying. (Well, mainly Lake.) I also dislike the Double D's and Jeremy and Eric.

I like Dave and Lori (YAY GEEKS), and I actually like Fran and Barry. I guess I like the underdog, and I thought it was funny how they found their way much easier than the stupid young kids.

The rest of the teams, eh, don't really have an opinion on.

I thought the breaking bottles challenge was pretty hillarious. I enjoyed Lake getting stuff smashed on his head. :)

Lake and Michelle have sunk to new lows. I hope the fact that they used their yield will bite them again sometime in the future, in that they can't use another one. Unlikely though, since this is actually the first time a yielded team has been eliminated (and thus they can't take revenge).

I did have a great big laugh at them (and Phil's expression) when they went to the pit stop before the roadblock though, hehe. But darn, I was hoping the airport thing would've thrown them off. But the fact that Lake only can do two more Roadblocks (since Michelle hasn't done any) will probably mess them up soon. *crosses fingers*

Hm, between Dani/Danielle and Ray/Yolanda, I can't really decide who deserved it more. Dani/Danielle just ran into a lot of bad luck (with the exception of bad driving), but Ray/Yolanda kept getting lost, even almost on the way to the pit stop, which was...a straight road ahead. I guess Dani/Danielle though, since this is the third leg in a row they've been ranked 8th.

Dave was so honest to Lori at the pit stop, that was really nice. He actually admitted being frustrated and totally hating it. Aww. The tasks this week seemed so hard for them, with all that running and the cruel-joke extra two pieces. The show really needs to stop with the geek music though, it's getting kinda old.

On a different note, did anyone else notice those huge differences in departure times?
1. Eric/Jeremy = 2:15 am
2. BJ/Tyler = 3:03 am
...
8. Dani/Danielle = 7:28 am (or something like that)

Whoa. At least there was the airport thing to help them catch up.

I'm glad it was the two girls who got eliminated. I like Ray and Yolanda slightly more than them. I also felt so bad for Lori getting all confused by the extra pieces. The "frat boys", a better name would be "drop-out boys", were so annoying looking all mad just because they came in second. I liked Phil telling them to look just a little bit happy. I also really can't stand Lake any more. I hope he gets eliminated next. In the meantime go hippies.

Yeah, it showed tonight. Tough. :\ Anyway, I might as well go on since I'm here, so beware of spoilers...

I'm a little "ehhh" about the fact that the hippies and the fratboys keep occupying the first two places. They're just swapping each week. The lower ranks aren't changing much either, with MoJo in third, oldies in fourth, and the bickering in fifth- all of which are holdovers from last week. Ray and Yolanda are bound to be eliminated next given their track record, although I'm still hoping for Lake and Michelle to really run out of luck.

For some reason, despite my past attachments to them, I didn't really feel sad that Dave and Lori got eliminated. There wasn't much at fault with them during this leg, only minor bickering during the traffic jam.

I didn't like Fran and Barry this episode. The nagging in the car (it's always in the car with everyone, isn't it?), the fact that Barry refused to ask anyone for directions...

Anyway, to continue what I was saying before, the producers need to really mix it up. The catchup period today was needed, but not quite enough (as much as I hate them). I guess that's to blame for the holdovers, because the difference between first and fourth-last place at the beginning of the leg was 4 hours.

:( I'm going to miss Dave and Lori. Out of every couple in TAR, I feel like they're the only ones that truly love each other.

P.S. The quasi-Hippies and Jeric are getting on my nerves. I hope that their bungee cords break next week (although I know they won't, seeing as I've already seen the NSFW pictures of them partying >.<).
