Ditto - I think DF must be working on it.

Edit: I tried holding down Ctrl and refreshing - no dice.

Hmm the Dancer IS up, but you'll maybe have to refresh a number of times, I know it does this sometimes, horrid really.

Sorry about it going small again, that was my stupidity. I changed the flash size for IE but forgot to change it for Firefox, then I fixed but online. THEN when reuploaded the html page, it unfixed again because it was not fixed on the offline page...does that make sense?

Is it just me that's not getting 'dancer' on the star mapper? I've tried in 3 different browsers and after deleting temporary files and opening new windows.

Er, the two dots you're talking up do not fit the proportions of the "glyph" that's shown.

I'm not getting it either, but thanks to Elric's template, I've already found mine. ^^;

we dont know for a 100% FACT that the dancer is a constellation... but we can now assume as many of us have found it.

Post your maps.... or pm .. or link.... and Ill see if i can find it.

....just make sure you have an updated map. *smacks forehead*

as for the gladiator shield.. there are two upper parallel diamonds, and two lower parallel diamonds that really mess with the shields possibilites... then again, it could maybe be the original four points i showed, and then... an arm on the side or something.

Nope, no dice.
Ah well, I'm off for a bit to get lunch. Maybe Aldator will be clickable or I'll find my constellation when I get back!

And this is the gladiator's "glyph". No arm. Think hard.

Not only can I not find my dancer, but the SkyMapper no longer fits nicely on my whole screen, so I can't take a simple screenshot of it. Ugh.

Using the star data from those who sent it to me (which was a crapload), I was able to come up with a possible shield template. One thing I noticed with ALL the data is that this constellation is partly off screen, which means the map needs to grow before you can get the whole constellation.

http://g.1asphost.com/elricrescuer/shieldtemp.bmp

And that's 50% on DF's site on IE. *Phew*

so all you guys who found the dancer got your constellation or just the stars for that constealltion? I can't find mine either
I really should train myself to not get my hopes up with Neopets because I'll just end up falling harder on the ground... face first!

sir.....now you are just starting to be rude. I'm not arguing whether you are correct, or I am. I'm simply stating my best opinion. I posted what I could help with so far, and admitted there are multiple possibilites to work with. I am aware of the fact that there is no arm in the picture. But as long as we dont know for a fact what they are shaped like, we can't be postive. You might not be right, you might be completely correct! I dont care... as for now, I am through with this for tonight....

... ive got all i can map out right now... my board is allll over the place with hints to myself where things might be later....
Image

hopefully some of it's forrrect!

If anybody would like to PM me their questions reguarding finding the dancer.... feel free. I may still be on PPT for a while.
