Stodder, while your program is a stroke of genius, doesn't that cross the line of having a cheating program? It outright tells you where the stars are, whereas DF's program merely shows the map and you have to do the work yourself.

Please don't take offence, I just don't want you to get frozen for making a cheating program.

My dancer is there... but I need one more star, and it is not there.

Underwater Basketweaving

::shakes head:: the day you see that 'course' on yer school curriculum, time to move! ::laughing::

Ahh, that's right! I mentioned this in another thread, but my school actually has that club! At least they did 2 semesters ago... I saw a flyer for it, but I couldn't check it out because I had a night class Thursdays, when they met. I was very disappointed.

I'll be darned, but it's actually a real thing to do. I don't think you need a snorkel, though.

I believe I've found another template, but I'm not sure what it's to. I think it's for the Wave, but again, I'm not sure. But it fits on over 20 different sets of data, so it has to be something. Any ideas?

The ???

yea i guess in a sense you could say that, hmm, never really thought of it that way till now. maybe i could label it a testing program because i was also planning to use it to help find future constalations. dont worry its not really offensive because it makes total sense.

anyways i still wanna carry on with experiments with it, hopefulyl to get the last 9 constellation maps, i thik i found the gladiator so far and the first to rise, but to be sure i need a couple peoples star data to test on... if anyone could send me their star data via PM that would rock

I thought it might be that, too, at first, but I couldn't find any other stars with the pattern...

On the other hand, I think I found the Farmer *NOT YET RELEASED, MIND YOU!* I'd put the template up, but, well, you know.

Stoodder, I just ran my data through your thingie, lol, and it tells me that my dancer and my gladiator share a couple of stars. Any ideas on that?

lol yea i figured that out XD infact tahey're sharing all the same stars, because on my map the, what i thought was the gladiator, is exactly the same as the dancer except its missing one star, here i have a map of it:
http://pluse.hosting.devilcoderz.com/curstarmap.jpg

so i put in some corections and modifications in the script and found that compared to other users its infact not the gladiator(and the experiment carries on)
