Haha, not even! Who knows, really? The whole length of this constellation thing could be just a buffer for the time it's taking to possibly plan and program the next, bigger, REAL part of the plot! Don't ever conclude things yet... ;)

Yeah, I think the Astronomy Club President is going to snap, steal our book, our telescope, and the janitor and hide out at the quarry where he will work out lifting rocks to create a fortress, thus becoming a blumaroo of superstrength. And all those years of star gazing will have somehow given him lazer vision which he will use against us. We will have to fight him with the janitor's fallen Mop of Cleanliness, which will somehow give us the ability to change carreers. We will transform into Foremen with the Cudgel of DOOM, which we will use to defeat the evil Astronomy Club President, uttering a witty "Here's a club I think you'll really enjoy!" We will rescue the janitor, who, being so greatful for us rescuing him, will become a servant to us, a butler if you will, and we shall then create a new cave in the quarry from where we will make our new home. We will save the world from criminals with odd costumes and odder names, and we shall call ourselves "Constellar of the Cosmos."

And all will be good.

....or it could end completely different. Who knows?

What about the frog? Does he get anything? A trophy for being pointless?

Ok, I'm stuck on the dancer. I found the spots of light on the path, and talked to the Lenny, then I used the easy constellation finder. It says the stars I found aren't part of a constellation. My star data is as follows.

Edited to remove star data for now

We're almost halfway through the finding those twelve constellations part of the miniplot. Lost Desert wasn't supposed to be all that huge and it went on for over 5 months. I have to agree with simsman on this. To be cliche, you know what happens when you assume.

The book has a lot of pages, and it's gonna be crazy reading them all.

Or maybe they're trying to throw us off.

Please don't post star data on here, that's what PMs are for. And you're a little confused. The constellation from the pathway is the first to rise. It's like the dancer, but tilted.

If you're still confused, PM your star data to me, I'll help you.

I edited it to erase the data after I noticed it stretched the page. Thanks, I'll go get the right stars now :)

The Janitor

You should still be able to edit it.

So last time:
The janitor says, "It sure is interesting watching those lights on the ceiling light up. What are you getting up to in that observatory, anyway?"

And the important part was lights and getting up. So now he is very angry so whos next?

Yes...the opposite of getting up is getting down...disco!

Not sure what the anger would refer to. It says states he "stamps his feet."

Stamps...Collector...mebbe?

Or, since the monthly theory seems to have skipped the Hunter (Altador), perhaps he'll be saved for last and the next will be the Wave (Marak).

Any new theories yet?

And Good Luck to all in finding the latest constellation.

yeah, if what you said turns out to be wrong and people laugh at you and never listen to anything you say again... then start talking about you behind your back... at least that's what usually happens to me...

Aw, when I said "mini-plot" I meant only the constellation-finding part of it all...if the number of clubs on the bulletin board are anything to go by then there should be at least 4 more legs to the whole plot. Which could take several months perhaps! But who knows, maybe star-finding is the only plot for quite some time. (How big a let-down would THAT be?)

And by the time the Altador plot(s?) are done it will be time for...the Halloween plot...? Maybe?

Just theorizing here.

Well, once we have all the constellations, we'll be on page 51 of the book (right? We're on page 23 already, and with 4 pages per hero and 7 heroes left, that's 28 more pages... 23 + 28 = 51... okay good I can do math :))

But I suppose that filling the book could only be one tiny part of it.

Who knows.

Flash Decompilation

#135 Post by duBer »

pezx2k wrote:hey im curious, people keep using the " its in the flash file" excuse...but who actually got in the flash file? I've been trying for awhile, and I can't find the constellations in there. Can someone who actually has gone IN the flash file explain?

I'm just now getting caught up on the last thread's posts, so please bear with me.

I'm not sure who decompiled the flash, but I know if you search the General Chat board for the word "glyphs" you'll eventually find the poster, and could PM them.

The glyphs are posted at http://www.hidebehind.com/2391E500 and I don't know who posted that link. It may have been the same person who decompiled the flash. So we don't know if that's an actual snapshot or saved image, or if the poster cut and pasted to make them all fit on the page.

If it is the original image, then there may be some sort of pattern in which they're appearing. I'm not seeing one but someone else might.

Hoping that that was helpful in some way...
