So...my point *deep breath* the star finders (mine and stodder's) I believe falls into the top category which mean that the theory that neopets shuts them down is a bit wild o_O

Neopets could not shut down your star finder because it's not on a neopets site; it's not in TNT's control. If they were bothered by it, they'd send you a "warning", or at worst freeze you. That article seems to indicate they are fine with it. That, plus the fact that you haven't been warned or frozen yet. I'm sure they'd heard of your site.

TNT can and has had sites shut down. I don't know about the constellation finder sites. I think those are just way too much traffic, especially in so short a period of time. People find out there's a new clue/constellation and run to get the info. Maybe they think (and maybe) it will be like the LDP - that the time it takes you to find your constellation will have anything to do with whatever happens at the end of the plot. On the other hand, you never know. The star map doesn't find the stars for you, it gives you your star map and a guide so you can find it yourself. The other gives the exact coordinates.

yea but the thing is on my first host i had 5000 megs of bandwith and only 500 used up, i kinda figured i might run out of bandwith but it definitly wasnt that early, i dunno i just think that neopets might have contacted the webmaster, otherwise the site also would say bandwith exceeded, then the site woudl com eback again after a month. not to mention im not even able to log into my control panel's on the sites anymore.

neways if anybody has a place i could put my star finder on i have all 12 constellations found just need a place to host it.

Pm me, I have a server you can use.

I believe that at this point, all items related to the plot should be kept safe, at least until the plot is over. It COULD very well be a mini trophy to show other users you have gone through certain steps of the plot, OR, as with the last plot, you might need the items later to place somewhere, or exchange for extra points.

Remember the stones in desert plot? where you needed it to place into the tablets?

Or the tokens given out in the maraquan plot, to exchange for extra points?

Based on recent events, i dare say it would be safe to assume the items given would have either uses.

Of course, i could very well be wrong.

Sorry, I've been out of the loop for a bit. How do we know the shape of the constellations that haven't officially been released?

By comparing different peoples star maps, they find patterns that are in all of them, and then check to see which of the remaining 6 glyphs would fit into that constellation. They then check to see if that pattern can be found above the gems of the person who's glyph fits into the pattern. If it does, then you've found that constellation.

Oh, and there are some spelling mistakes on the constellation finder.

Educated guesses. Looking for ones that look like them on their star data and then using those.

Wow. That's pretty complicated. I'll just trust that it works.

How does this help us if the stars drift? What's wrong with just using a regular star mapper with a guide?

Anyone have any idea what constellation is going to be next? I heard gladiator a few times, but I have a rather lame theory that says protector will be next.

Anyone else have a guess?

Because it seems lame to me and I'm guessing it's wrong. But it's a theory all the same.

EDIT: The opposite sides equals 13. Red numbers are the ones we already have, blue are ones we don't have.

Quite a lot of people have said that it will be the Gladiator next. Apparently, it's been encoded into the flash file for the telescope. But, with only six constellations left, it should be fairly easy to find the next one, whichever it is.

But if the Gladiator was encoded into the flash then I can't fight with that.
