- U2's latest album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, sold over 800,000 units in it's first week, doubling the sales of the CD they had released before that (All That You Can't Leave Behind)
- After touring with hip-hop superstar Kayne West (who has sang, or in this case, rapped, hits like Gold Digger and Heard 'Em Say), U2 says they will be experimenting with styles that of hip-hop and rap.
- Their singles include "Vertigo", "Sometimes You Can't Make It Out On Your Own", and "Original of the Species".

Bon Jovi- After a three year hiatus, Bon Jovi reformed and released Crush in 2000, it has since set their next trend of recording CDs.
- Bon Jovi recently won a CMT award for best duet, for their latest single, Who Says You Can't Go Home?. But, the song was originally recored with Keith Urban. They wanted to have more of a difference in voices, so they got Jennifer Nettles (of the new band Sugarland) to do it with them.

No foreign music, unless they have broken the language barrier or are widely known by people. (Examples, Utada Hikaru and Ayumi Hamasaki)
- You may suggest artists/bands to compete.
- Every Wednesday the votes will be tallied and a new round will be posted.
