I was trying to figure out how to say something in Spanish...that's the closest I got. (Cookie to anyone who knows what I'm trying to translate. Translation programs are allowed.)

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

Due to the number of PMs I've been getting, I thought I'll just do a review of the clues thus far... I'll just share on what has help me more when solving the puzzle. Remarks are after >>>

Take 5 minutes break first. Get a drink or a snack, read through (you're stuck anyway) and maybe you can pick up something new, or at least stop trying things that are out of logic/due to desperation.

Here goes:

1) 10-15 digits >>> Notice how WK went from 5~20, to 10~20, then 10~15? Actually, one can guess at the exact number when it was 10~20. smile.gif
2) "0" and "1" are in it >>> This helps, because it verifies your answer, and no, it is not binary (see clue 5).
3) Numbers range from 0-9 >>>You can re-read this in a literal sense, it might just help.
4) Clue is in only 1 level (i.e Level 31~36) >>> I can't say the exact level (until WK himself divulges it), but some/most of you should have deduced it by now... but please be logical. Storywise, whoever set the number will not know what the heck you did earlier in the day, because all this person does is leaving hints. Did he/she actually hack your account? Think about it. And oh, counting how many steps you took in lvl 31 and all that is quite off, if you know what I mean.
5) First digit is "8" >>> this clue is the clincher for me. Other than the level 36 page itself, if I were to recommend only one clue from this list, this is it. Don't force an answer and contort it so that starts with 8. It will come naturally.
6) "41" isn't in it BUT "4" and/or "1" can be present anywhere in any order >>> Just another clue for you to check your answer against. And to avert you from the meaning of life.
7) Combination lock: numbers >>>Numeric entry only. Not stuff like openthefrigginlocker.html
8) Numbers: ?????
9) It's not IP of given site. >>>I triggered this clue hahaha Nice of WK to let me know this early on. Now move on, okay? Nothing to see here.
10) No embed. >>>Saves you even more heartache. It is not embedded like that memorable level, so no conversions necessary.
11) Source code NOT important. >>>Source code gives you clue 3. Saves you some heartache, though I know a good load of people still try that.
12) Derive clue from storyline. >>>(see clue 4)
13) Digits are NOT derived from handphone T9 conversion. >>>One cyphering cow killed. How many more to go?
14) who do u think locker 41 belongs to? >>>Actually this isn't so important and can throw people off the curve when misinterpreted (as with all hints hehe). See clue 4 for why WK put this hint.
15) there is something important in level36 that everyone has overlooked. it is the first breadcrumb.

Early on as recorded in the pages, I asked WK if there are repeated numbers, he said he can't say. Think of *critical* questions and pop it to WK... he's usually kind enough to answer or not answer (both ways work for me smile.gif )

Anyway, if it's any consolation, this is more or less the last 'stuckpoint'. I think levels 37~40 added together is easier than level 36. I'm not the first one to pass 36, nor the only one. smile.gif

One last note... stay good-natured yeah? Some of the comments are beginning to look a little less friendly. :sweatz:

Apologies to those who asked, nicely or otherwise, that I can't give too much clues. The puzzle's done by WK, so I'll leave it to his discretion to reveal clues and see how long he wants you folks to cook a bit. All I can do is to extrapolate from what is already said... I don't want to get banned you know.

Think about WK's style in creating these puzzles... it's usually so straightforward that it's not. When you have the answer, you will know for sure that it is the answer before even keying into the HTML.

Cheers.

Trying to figure out Level 36 on The Wicked. It's hard.

It's part of an old Latin story-thing. You may have seen part of it in a template for PowerPoint.
