April 19-Lutari Day

I have a question:

I mentioned earlier that I was going to morph one of my existing pets into a Lutari, rather than struggle to create a new pet. About how long does it usually take TNT to release a mutant or morphing potion for a new species? I know it was a few months for the Xweetok and the Gnorbu, but is that the norm?

Could range from one day to about 2 months - I have a feeling they'll be coming sooner than later

Oh, this is just wonderful. My favourite pet besides the Ixi finally comes out and I can't get one I've been trying since yesterdya, but I just don't have the patience and the confidence that more will come out. It's been at 5,080 for hours now, apparently. And I'm afraid they won't release more after today I really want right here, right now. No patience to wait until they become non-LE or something. I've set up quite a predicament for myself...

The help boards yesterday had a rumour that they were stopping them at 5000, and if you give a few for lab zaps then I guess thats right.

I refreshed every 3 - 6 seconds last night for 64 minutes and finally created Cyanimere in the 4,700 or 4,800 batch

Lab zaps aren't counted in those stats, only created pets are - it always goes slightly over the number though with so many people all creating at the same time.

I managed to get my Lutari with the name I wanted (from over a year ago!) but I am still extrememly annoyed at the way in which tnt released these pets. It seems likely that they either did that to massively up their hits, or to just release some now so that when the rest end up only being available via cell phone they can say they did release some for everyone :/

I am hoping though that when Lutari Island is released they'll just unlimit the Lutari. I think that's the only thing that would stop being quite so disappointed in tnt, the manner of release really killed the excitement of finally getting my pet that I've been waiting so long for.

So it's done now. Dam--er. Darnit. Can't believe I had a name and everything picked out since the first sign of this thing popped up, and now here I am...Lutari-less. Just goes to show: TNT doesn't cater to people with lives.

I mean, really, though. Ridiculous. I had a really light homework load and spent as much time as I could refreshing, and still didn't manage it. Grar. Guess that name can go back into storage for another Who-knows-how-long.

Aye to that! Then again I haven't really stopped obsessing since they first showed up...forever ago..

Same here.. then I went on a 4-day trip to visit my dad - and they're released while I'm away! >.< I wanted one so badly too, but I totally missed the release because I went out to visit family. That's serriously not fair. -.-';

Ah well... hopefully more will be released later at a time when I can snatch one. If noooot... *coughsandhidesevilplans*

Yeah, for whatever reason TNT isn't letting you pound Lutari (Lutaris?).

Is it like with the Ice Bori? Just since they can't change the species they just won't let you abandon them... at least for now?
