Interesting. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten round to playing it yet. I can't figure out where I downloaded it to, so I have to re-download it. Is it supposed to take so long to download, by the way? Seemed a bit long.

I'd probably take the Fire mage, since I've always been one for stats that hit them hard. ^.^

I only have the one character, DylP (29 Bowman) on Bera.

I just got a golden egg, and traded it in for 10,000 exp

Thanks to it, I now only need 40% to level 30.

So I'm nearing level 50. It's so evil, level 49. You can't wait, yet at the same time, you really want to level.

I'm only a lvl 19 Bowman, and it's annoying for me to train..... I don't know how people do it..

i'm getting near to get my thorns. i just need 7 more wisdom crystal ores, 4 gold plates (1 extra would be great. i'm needing a moon rock) or 40 gold ores, and 5 silver plates or 50 silver ores.

Got bored with my Cleric and now I'm making a New Member (though I know it will be censored out as "new person"). I've wanted to try it now, and I know they're uncommon. (It may up being my most active account, I don't know yet)

I am new to maplestory and I have 1 question:

Do you have to pay for anything there? And how will it affect gameplay?

Really all you need to pay for are some equipment, pets, and the shop pass (plus to buy new hair or skin colour).

The equipment is useless as far as stats go and you'll only really need them if you want to look cool. Most of the cool-looking equipment and items have to be purchased, but they're definitely not required and shouldn't affect gameplay.

Pets, though I've never had one, can be useful. You don't really need them, but I guess it sort of goes along with the equipment. They help a little (you can buy the meso magnet or the pouch [or whatever it's called] and they will pick up mesos and enemy drops for you, I believe), but I think they're really more for decoration.

Shop passes allow you to open up shop in the market place. They're probably the mose useful thing you could buy, but you can also just set up trades and sell certain things if you want to, so they're not absolutely required, but probably more efficient.

Also, SP and AP reset cards are useful if you screwed up your stats or didn't roll 4/4. and the funny teleport rock thing is good too, though not worth the price. it lets you teleport to any previously assigned map in the same continent

Four Broa Accounts right now:
Falteris - Lvl 11 Mage [>> totally messed up with stats...so it takes him hours to kill a slime >>]
Remaldrin - Lvl 7 [?]Beginner [would be mage...but messed up stats too]
Kafrik - Lvl 16 Archer [Whee...not too thrilled with training archer]
Denegrados - Lvl 31 Cleric [Heal is awesome

Though I still die a lot because I'm suicidal] [I think this was in less than a month too...training as a mage is very easy

]

Two Bera Accounts:
Kaltran - Lvl 10 Archer [Whee...never train him anymore]
Lantari - Lvl 3 Beginner [Messed up stats again...possibly]

One Scania Account:
Nerol - Lvl 16 Warrior [and I probably messed up his stats too >P]

Falteris, Kaltran, Lantari and Nerol are from very long ago...and of the four only Nerol shows promise...

lol, I find it more fun. You NEVER need MP potions, you get to (well you're FORCED to) use all of the cool weapons and well, you get completely swarmed with people asking you "CAN I BY THAT SNOWBOARD OFF U?" or "HOW MUCH FOR DA BORD?" OH, and if you have "panda" in your name, you get swarmed by people with "panda" in their name saying "LOLZ PANDA". Funny, funny people.
