Because in Spain the main language is French. My cousin just arrived from Spain and he said everyone was speaking French.



No, I've been to Spain before and I've spoken French to some locals and they didn't understand most of it.


It probably depends on where you go in Spain. They might speak it in one town but not in the next town over.

There's only four languages in Spain: Castillian, Euskera, Galican and Catalan.

Yeah I haven't had Spanish since 1st semester...I'm taking Spanish III next year tho.

And Paul...if someone asks you ¿Como Estas?
Reply with Estoy or Yo Estoy(either one works)

Tengo sed = I'm thirsty
Tengo sueno = I'm tired
Gracias = Thank you
De nada = Your welcome
Me llamo _____/Yo soy _____ = I am _____
Como te llamas? =What's your name (literally 'How are you called?')
Donde es ______? = Where is _______?
Voy a(l/ la) _____. = I'm going to the _____.

I'm talking about "Usted sabe donde esta el carro?" etc. I was thinking about do you know where _______?" Forgot to add "donde."
