Anyone being randomly logged out?

Its happening in games and random pages but when I then refresh, I'm logged back on.

Edit: Its happning on both IE and Firefox for me.

I have been logged out a lot last week, I thought someone was in my account and quickly changed my password. No logging out this week though

I was logged out twice and signed back in, on the 3rd time, I refreshed the page, and it went back to the page I was on. So I am not too sure if I was actually logged out or it was just the login page that came up the first 2 times.

funnily enough, ppt just signed me out as well

haven't been signed out on neopets again.. yet anyway. but i had some weird pages loading in which nothing but the yellow sidebar wasloading, and my nps didn't show only in dice a roo, and refreshing it fixed the problem i think..

I had a real problem a while ago with it looking like I was logged in as a variety of other people - I even got a neomail from some nice kid who informed me that I had left myself logged in at a school I'd never been to.

When I asked my friend in networking about it he said there was a problem with the way IPs were handled on my work network -

Its possible that if your not actually being logged out somehow whats happening is your loosing your dedicated IP and thats confusing the cookies that Neo is using to ID your account.

As far as I can tell its not a big deal, although it certainly is annoying.

Just a minute ago, I was logged out. When I refreshed, I was logged back in.

I played Buried Treasure and it said I didn't have enough money, although I certainly did. I refreshed and got the booby prize.

This happened to me. I got it while changing my active pet, and when I hit the 'back' button, I was still logged in.

Alas, I didn't see this thread before it happened, or I would have known to make note of that information for you Dolphinling. =/ However, I did notice that the login page looked strange. I think it was the old login page, the one with the flying aisha on it. Not the newer one that asks you to confirm your active pet. It looked familiar, but ... sort of an 'old' familiar. Like I had seen it before, but not recently.

I used to get so many other peoples accounts just popping up all over the place about to years ago... but that was when i was using dial-up and when i played at school... It just happens sometimes... All you can do is cler your cache and cookies and change your password...

One of the servers is having problems reading the cookies. I noted that on at least one occasion when I had an error message at the top of the page and was being asked to log in. I refreshed and it went away.

I keep getting sent to a page telling me that I can't perform the task I was attempting (purchasing an item from users' shops) because I'm logged out. The page "looks" very Neopian with a faerie Aisha and a Chia. When I go back one page and retry the task, it works with no problems. I've sent a note to the Neo people, but maybe you know more. Is this odd or should I be reporting the shops it happens in (it doesn't happen in every shop).

yeah, i was moving items into my sdb (pack rat) and it kept telling me i couldn't do it because i wasn't logged in. just try it again and it seems to work.

Do NOT report the shops. It's a server problem, not malicious users. Check the url to be sure (if it starts with http://www.neopets.com, you're okay). Check the source code to get the server number for dolph (see his post above). And don't put in your login info; just refresh and it should all be fine.

And yeah, it is a sidebar-less, older-looking page with the aisha. It's odd.
