Feed your pet a Speckled negg. Speckled items, like Speckled Neopets Party Blower, to skieth or grarrl.

#231 for me. Bought 2 and resold at max. Maybe should have waited. They're uber-priced now.

I hear you can get it by feeding a Grarrl/Skeith something speckled. Too bad I dont have one to try.

To get this avatar, simply feed your pet any item with the word 'Speckled' in it. The only food item (right now)is a Speckled Negg but if you happen to have a skeith or grarrl, you can feed them a Speckled Neopets Birthday Balloon which costs around 300 neopoints.

6 new speckled food items were announced in the news and should be availiable soon

Thanks to Avatar Log (avatar.starried.net) for that YAY thoguht I wouldnt be able to get it.

And you can adopt a grarrl or skeith from the pound. I just adopted a grarrl. Will send him back to the pound once Ive trained him up a bit and made him a bit more.. wantable!! Dont adopt a pet just for the avatar though cos thats mean

UPDATE - yikes in the time it took me to sell a codestone so I could buy some Speckled Neopets Birthday Balloon at 300np since I knew they would be going up in price and decided I might make me a profit... they went up to 1000NP, that was like in less than 3 minutes!

I bought one on the TP for about 110k and am now auctioning it off to see if I can make a small profit. If not, I'll just feed it to Kawatori.

You can buy any specked item and feed it to a skeith or grarrl though, doesnt have to be the expensive negg one =) I got the avatar for 300 np, they gone up now tho >.>

really?? darn.. i had no NP from spending it all on a major pack rat avatar shop

some guy was advertising battle biscuits for 30k too and he had 162 of them! back up to 95k now but wanted to get some of them too to resell

always miss out :cry:

Speckled Neopets Birthday Balloons are up to 25K, lol.

Ok, I had a balloon in my SDB, as well as five of those goody bags you get them from. Opened them all, five times 30K xD

So keep in mind you can open your goody bags for speckled items.
