I guess I'm the only one who's not fond of the Darigan Yurble, then.
It's not bad (certainly loads better than that attrocity that they tried to pass off as the Mutant Uni), it just seems too "cluttered" around the head area to me. Maybe if the wings were larger....
I'm loving the skunk color, though.
Edit:
...Ok, now I see the appeal.

i dont like the light grey on the yurble... it should be white, not grey... it seems to dark. dont pleasant one the eyes. its dreary...
Yeah that's what I was thinking. They white on it looks like periwinkle to me though.
Compaire it to other skunk pets:

Why the heck isn't there a skunk xweetok? That should've been like one of the first colors it had.

I love the Skunk Yurble, the shading on it is miles ahead of any of the other Skunk pets - it doesn't look flat for once, huzzah!
As for Darigan, the concept is good but I'm not sure about the execution. It *looks* cluttered but there isn't actually that much going on, so really it should look fine. Never the less I'm delighted to see Yurbles getting good colours for their pet day, I'm hoping Koi will get the same

It look chunky and fat... but not more 3 dimentional. It's not the shading that makes the yurble 3D looking at all, it's the fact that perspective was applied when they draw the original template for the pet. They've made several mistakes in the shading acutally, part of the white mane/neck ruff is accidently black. And what's that weird highlight in the mane just above the shoulder?

The only thing I don't like on the Darigan Yurble is the wings. If they're meant to be vestigial(and I think they are), they're drawn awkwardly. But looking at it in the other poses, I don't see that awkwardness.
My only other complaint is this:
It's a little too cliche cartoon.
...But that battle pose is so awesome, it makes up for the rest of it. And I really like the horns. Overall it's my favorite color for the Yurble.

I'm totally with Trick, I love the Skunk Yurble, but the Darigan only flicks a few of my buttons. Overall though, I love Yurbles anyway, probably one of my favourite pets, and their non-redraws look fabulous anyway. Darigan does seem cramped, it was the first thing that struck me, as did the uncoordinated colour scheme. The ears are lovely. Nice touches on the Skunk too, the mane is great.
