I got a zapped Koi last week, but I was planning on abandoning the pet anyway, so I did.
And then I went and adopted a Koi yesterday on my side. His name's Tangerinero, which I made up on the spot because I'm spontaneous like that.

Honestly, I didn't think they went that fast. The group of Koi I adopted mine from was available for at least 5-6 minutes (which was good, because it took me two minutes just to settle on a name and reroll stats). But I started making mine almost as soon as that batch had been made available, so I probably had more time than others who noticed it later.
