I've been trying the same thing as you ziggy, in between tabbing and clicking *whacks head on desk*

Eeeeeee! I found that spell book! It was in room 6,18. Considering I started at 3,3... yeah. Book 1126, looks like.

Anyway, I guess it's spell time.

Alas, distinct spells doesn't seem to mean distinct spell /effects/.

I guess it's like D&D where you have multiple versions of a spell based on level. E.g. Animal Summoning I and Animal Summoning II are distinct spells but have basically the same effect (not quite the same, but close enough, I suppose).

I swear, I've had the temperature drop 40 deg so many times that if it hasn't come back up in between, it's well below Absolute Zero. I think all subatomic motion has stopped as well...

if everyone has different, then you can't use numbers that are the same for all, like the number of pages in the book of age. maybe it is one the coordinates of the hunter.. :roll:

blah I'm gone through 00,18 and 18,18 as well and still nothing :/. man this takes way to long...

Its quite logical to me. I drop the temperature 200 degrees and lighting shoots from the laws. So then my hair catches on fire. So I put it out and get dizzy. Lilghts flicker and a kadoatie pops in outta nowhere. Then the ground turns to mud. So then the walls start thumping, lights go out, you are afraid of a Grue. Because we all know that Grues cannot stand cold weather, we drop the temperature...

I wonder if the room where you find the book is somehow relevant to the spell you need...

You aren't stupid. I'm having the exact same problem - and I've tried Safari, Firefox and even the STUUUPID IE for Mac.

And if it only takes you 10 minutes for each room, you're lucky. I've had to spend 20 or so - and I'm still not sure I have gotten them all.

i dont understand how you guys say thereis 31 books, to me it looks like 100's and none is clickable, did i do something wrong? i feel i missed something

Can we make a list of the spell effects found so far?

I've had:

A loud thumping sound reverberates through the halls
Lightning bolts shoot out from the walls! You barely avoid being incinerated.
A horrible stench fills the room, and just as quickly vanishes.
tiny storm cloud forms in the center of the room and rains for a few seconds.
A mystical howling echoes in the distance.
Your hair catches on fire!
A confused-looking Kadoatie appears out of thin air, then suddenly vanishes.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
Your pants disappear! Good thing you're alone.
A thick cloud of dust appears from nowhere, sending you into a coughing fit.
You suddenly feel very dizzy.

I'm bored of pressing random numbers

And I've tried all combinations of room number/book number I can think of as spell numbers to no avail.

The zone you have to click is very, very small. Try using the tab key. Highlight the "Altadorian Archives" on top of the picture and click tab.
