If my cords are 18 and 15 (and I know they are....) do I click to the right 18 times or 17 times? and up 15 times or 14 times...

Dont do either. Just look at the url and insert the coordinates there, in the arcx= and arcy= variables. Youll have to click away from the first room once to get them in the url though.

Go to the archives, click on any direction, then go up to the adress bar and in part of it it will say something like "arcx=" and you put the x value in for that then after that there will be a simmilar one for y.

We dont know what to do with the spellbook yet. ALl of the spells have been attempted, but no results which put us ahead.

There is an easy way. Click the right door ONCE. Then, look at the URL. It is something like this:
...archives.phtml?goarch=6bb849fe92fcc546563ecadb04cc1e83&arcx=1&arcy=0

Where the arcx=1 is, put your x value. Where the arcy=0, put your y value.

I chopped the beginning of the url so it doesn't stretch the forum.
Also, please note that is my chopped url, so you can't copy/paste it.

You will need to click up 15 times and right 18 times, because you start in room 0,0

Once you click a door the URL will have 2 values in it arcx and arcy

If you just change those values to 18 and 15 you will be in your correct room. It will look like this:

...arcx=18&arcy=15&...

Then you won't have to click so much to get to your room.

When you go into the archives, as soon as you moove a room, you'll see in the URL something like this: arcx=0&arcy=1, x=0 and y=1.

So far I've tested spells 1 through 11,700 and have found nothing yet, just the same 20 results cycling over and over.

Hmmm, while doing spells first King Coltzan flies through the room. Then my pants dissappear--- I think King Coltzan just stole my pants

edit: I've not gotten far, but I've been working on 30,000 and up

Soooo I've gotten my coordinates like thirty times I checked them against the ones that the constellation finder gave me. I calculated them in my head, on paper, and with a calculator and I'm in the highest math class for my grade so I doubt I messed up. The thing is...ALL THE BOOKS IN THE ROOM THAT MATCHES MY FRIGGIN COORDINATES ARENT FRIGGIN SPELLBOOKS *passes out*

Now that this thread is nicely mostly about Spell Book related things, I would suggest those of us that can make spells try to focus on a combination or sequence, or even where an additional clue might be.

Either there must be a combination or sequence (since others have gotten two messages at once after casting spells) or something else is needed.

Of course the necklace being placed on any of 12 statues may be a factor.

I am calling out for theories (not too wild now) for this next part, as it appears very much similar to the reading of scrolls in the LDP repository.

*shudders*

EDIT: Possibly even a separate AIM chat room or such for brainstorming?
