Christopher, thank goodness I wasn't the only one who was majorly let down.
Things that annoyed me other than the ones previously listed:
- What's with Magneto doing dumb stereotypical villain things that don't make sense what-so-ever (which didn't happen in the previous films)? I mean... if you can move an entire bridge, then why even bother having the fight that happened at the end of the movie? Just drop the bridge on them!
- Needles are made of metal. 'Nuff said.
- Storm still sucks. Ugh.
- Phoenix was the lamest thing ever. She didn't even have an objective. She just stood there with a lame stare. She wasn't scary at all.
- Wolverine's skin was flying off but his pants were fine?
- She could've easily killed him. Lame scene!
- I love now no one cared that Cyclops was missing until after Jean started acting scary.
- Juggernaut is not technically a mutant, so Leech shouldn't really have an effect on him.
That's all I can think of for now.
Thank you!!
I am a MAJOR X-Men fan and I was very upset at this film, it was complete rubbish!
Well, not
all rubbish, Ratner had the action scenes planned out perfectly however there was no scenes in between these "action packed scenes" to make them all make sense -- it was literally one after the other.
As for the movie itself, here were my problems,
SPOILER BELOW
Angel, had no story whatsoever; at least with Rogue in X-Men 1, she had the story in the beginning and it carried throughout the movie. Angel was just then and now, like, nothing ever happened in between.
Wolverine was a bit annoying, I mean, seriously. "Jean, don't do it" "Jean, I love you" -- I mean please, shutup, she's with Scott!
And about Scott, why didn't anyone care when he died? And as you, Spira said, they only started to care after Jean went all demon-y.
And speaking of Jean, she really didn't do anything besides turning people into matter.
Ratner
really messed up this franchise; hopefully Brian will be able to look at this and be like "That's it, we're re-calling this film, time to make it right,".
I can dream, can't I?
