All right, Fawkes creams Flitwick. I assume that this is because there's much more to say about Fawkes than about Flitwick, but I don't know, because nobody responded. Be better about that, won't you?

Anyway, Fawkes next challenges:

Wow. That's about as un-apples-and-oranges as we've ever gotten. I really did want a Fudge-Scrimgeour showdown, but as neither is at all well-liked, such is not to be. And our first-ever contest was Ron vs. Winky. (For new folks, I get these contestants by randomly flipping through the first book I pick up and seeing if my finger lands on a new name.)

Anyway, Hagrid has been generally annoying, with the notable exceptions of Keeper of the Keys, Hagrid's Tale, and everything from Flight of the Prince on. (This is a good time to put in that I'm really worried for him. I mean, when has he ever refrained from trying anything stupid? Remember when the centaurs tried to kick him out of the forest? Combine that with his nigh-on worship for Dumbledore and, well...)

Fawkes has never annoyed me, and, as I said before, is awesome.

My vote is for Hagrid.

Fawkes, Hagrid is my second most-hated Harry Potter character.

My vote is for fawkes. He has helped Harry out alot more than Hagrid and has helped Dumbledore too! Plus he is so much more likeable!
