Jubjub Update!

I REALLY don't like this new look.
Enough that I'm considering putting my Jubjub in the Adoption Centre.

To put that into perspective: I hated the new Uni look so I painted mine Invisible when they changed it. I really don't like this. At all.

I like it. Now if they'd only get arond to the Zafara and Scorchio!

They'd better not dare! If they change a hair on my mutant zafara.... >_<

(Ok, I'll concur the default poses/colors could probably use a redraw, and the Scorchio could benefit from a touch up, but I'll still be really annoyed, nonetheless.)

Much as I actually like the new JubJub, I can't imagine how disappointed some owners are that their pets look completely different. Shouldn't TNT do a poll for this sort of thing to see if people actually want to see a revamp of an older species?

I thought they were ugly. I still do. They're less ugly than before, though.

I'm sort of fifty-fifty on this. It's more dynamic, yes, but it loses some of it's appeal (the big feet). We'll see.

I had really gotten tired of my Faerie Jubjub... I was even considering labbing it! I'll be glad to see the new version!

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. I got stuck with a jubjub when I labbed my Bruce. . . then finally decided he was cute and now this. I want his feet back in front of him. He was so much cuter then!

Hmm... I don't hate the redraw, but I think I liked the other ones better. This one does seem a bit more "cutified," but it isn't too bad. I don't have one right now, but if I did I wouldn't be running off to put it in the pound.

I don't know, I think the little guys are rather cute.

I like the blue one best because its eyes match its body. It doesnt look as nice for the others to have such blue eyes. But other than the clashing eyeballs, I really like them. I have a red one right now from the lab, and he looks like a cuddly little fluff

They're never going to not revamp older species. It makes no business sense or even just aesthetic sense to keep the exact same artwork from five or six years ago. The best, I mean the absolute best you can hope for, is that they do a poll after the fact and give you the option to vote on several choices. In my opinion, it'd be best to at least give 2 or 3 options for each revamp and close the polls after a week to speed things along. However, that's only happened once with the kougras and then the re-revamp of the lupes. Unpopular pets don't much matter to them.

Huggles, do you mean the gelerts? The lupes we had no choice on. Of that I'm sure, as I have owned one since before the revamp.

No. I mean that the we got to vote on the kougras and the lupes were revamped again after much complaining. I think the really early revamps, before the ixi and draik were released, are simply just too old to be of any relevance now.

I think that anything pre-Krawk is due for a revamp if it hasn't had one post-Krawk. I agree with Huggles, it doesn't make sense to keep the old style when most of the pets look new and refreshed.

I did like them sitting down before, but this revamp is pretty minor and well-deserved.

Oh, and didn't they say that the Kougra vote was a one-time-thing because so many people were concerned with the update?

May have, but the kougra was revamped before that. It was only after so many people complained about the revamp that we were able to vote.
