WW17: The Return

It all started with a gift from an apparently distant cousin who you had never heard of.
He gave you an ancient parchment dated 4/8/15 for your 16th birthday*.
It spoke of a trip that you were to take, immediately.
You went to the first place you could think of, the airport. And instinctively, you took whatever was on Gate 23. As you were waiting to load onto the plane, you noticed that the flight number was 42.
You got onto the plane and that's the last thing you remember.

Yet something about that letter and the events leading up to the last thing you remember keeps ringing in your head.
Something's odd... something's odd...
And alas, it seems it will hinder you unless you can figure it out and get it out of your head.

Thus the challenge. And the game has begun.

Synopsis
The basic premise is simple: Kill the others before they kill you. Although it sounds much more simpler than it actually is. Each day you will get the chance to VOTE for someone to be executed. Each night those on the evil side will get the chance to KILL someone. This process repeats until one side has declared victory and is successful in doing so (note that this is different from before). The victory conditions, however, are not any different.

Schedule
Each "cycle" consists of a DAY part, and a NIGHT part. During DAY you will have the chance to VOTE for someone to be executed. DAY will end at 6:00:00PM Pacific Time (Also the same as Neopian Time). Time is SOLELY based on the PPT Timestamp. If your post reads 6:00PM or later it is VOID.

Night begins immediately after the "Execution Scene" is written up. No public actions need to take place during Night (as in Day where you vote). This does not imply, however, nothing is done during this time. Night LISTS as per your roles must be PM'd to me by 7:30:00PM Pacific Time. (However, please note that you may send me a list for that night ANY TIME during that cycle). Again, Time will be based on the PPT Timestamp. If your PM has a post time of 7:30PM or later, it is VOID. Once the "Night Scene" is posted, Day immediately begins.

Please note that it may take up to 15 minutes PAST the deadline to post the results (as many things may need to be calculated/taken into account). Also anticipating any problems / conflicts that may arise, times may shift as necessary under my discretion. [Note that you do NOT need to be present at the Execution / Night Scenes]

Times based on Pacific / Neopian time.

Rules
1. Respect. You must respect all players no matter what. This game is about lying and deceiving. If you discover that the wool has been pulled over your eyes. OH WELL. Better luck next time. Try not to feel hurt personally. Its just a game. And if you disrespect anyone ON or OFF the boards, you will be immediately banned from the game forever. Simple as that.

2. Unless otherwise stated, you are NOT allowed to vote for yourself or target yourself as per your role DIRECTLY.

3. "GROUPED" ROLES If you are in a "Group" Role (in that more than one person shares your role and you know so explicitly by me) you are NOT to reveal the names of your group in SPITE/ANGER/etc. This completely destroys the momentum of the game and is very dishonorable. Doing so will result in immediate killing and a lengthy ban from the game.

Note that this does NOT cover the case where you simply drop names to guess or as to decieve people in another way. If strategy based it is completely fine, but remember, decisions are based on MY opinion. If you feel uneasy, all you need to do is PM me about this detail and you're fine. All persons part of this strategy should (but need not) PM me as well. All it takes is one PM to get you kicked out.

4. Any PMs or IMs you recieve from me privately CANNOT be reproduced to any other person in this game under ANY circumstances. This includes your Role. They must be kept to YOURSELF only. Simple description of your role is fine. Anything too specific will not.

5. Activity is important. Keep yourself active in the game by voting and submitting your nightly lists. Missing 2 votes or 2 Nightly Lists puts you in danger of being modkilled. I may or may not give you another chance, but you best not miss that many times.

6. Should any problems arise for ME or PPT, this game may be delayed slightly.
Should any problems arise for YOU, please make sure to PM me with this detail.
If you have any forseen arrangements (in the next 10 days) don't sign up. But if something pops up, please PM me and see if we can arrange something.

7. Anything that seems confusing to you, please feel free to PM me or IM me (for a quicker response). Remember, everything has been done with my *intent* in mind. If you are unsure with something, you should ask. Decisions are not based on what YOU inferred from what I wrote, but what I INTENDED it to be.

8. Once you have died, you will no longer be able to post on the thread. Instead you must post on the GRAVEYARD thread. Note that I'm giving this thread another chance. While in the GRAVEYARD thread you are NOT to speak about things that have not been substantiated ON THE PUBLIC THREAD. The moment someone makes a statement about the game WITHOUT proof by the public thread, its GONE. As well as a 1 game ban from the next game to the offender.

9. Also, once you have died, you may NOT speak to any living player about the game at ANY time ANY WHERE. You must isolate yourself from the game except for the Graveyard thread. Abide by the above points while in the Graveyard as well. Keep in mind resurrections are possible, so please try and keep in with the game even while dead.

10. Offsite conversations MAY be posted on the game thread. However, permission by all other participants of those conversations must be given to me. Check in with me if you wish to do this, and I shall give the green light to do so.

11. NEVER EDIT YOUR POST UNLESS IT IS CLEARLY AND USEFULLY TO AVOID DOUBLE POSTING!

Declaring Victory
Unlike past games, I will not be the one declaring the victory of a group.
When you feel that your team has won, ONE person must declare victory in the following way:

I, (your SN), declare that the (your team) has emerged victorious

If you are CORRECT (as in you have mathematically defeated all other teams) game ends and take your victory.
If you are INCORRECT, the team that was declared as victorious will be disabled for a full 24 hours after the declaration has been evaluated by me. The declarer will also be punished-- death is the consequence. As a result, declaring victory shouldn't be done willy-nilly.

Declaration can occur at any time and the declaration's validity is looked at the MOMENT it is declared. If it is during DAY and the votes are LOCKED (all votes to that person) then the execution will be accelerated as if it took place BEFORE the declaration.

Declaration of victory for the same team cannot take place on 2 consecutive days.

This also means that I will not announce when a team has been defeated!

Voting
Each day you are given the option to vote for up to TWO persons until there are 7 people left. At that point you only have 1 vote. You can opt to vote for nobody as well.

Please vote in the following format:
Vote: ???
If you wish to take back a vote:
Unvote: ???
If you wish to vote for NOONE (a no execution)
Vote: Noone/Nobody/No Execution/etc.

You may not use both votes to vote for someone nor can you vote for yourself directly.
If you vote for a No Execution, your other vote is automatically nulled.
If you illegally vote for a 3rd person, that vote is ignored until you properly unvote your 2nd vote.
Again, votes must be in BEFORE 6PM Pacific time.

To execute someone, you will need a majority of those alive(> 50%).
To qualify for a double execution, one must have at least 75% of those alive voting and the other must have majority.
If both are above majority, whoever has more votes will be executed first.

If a tie vote exists at any point (except >= 75% level) or there is an insufficient amount of votes, the "No Execution" option prevails.

Two No-Executions in a row will result in an extra death at that 2nd night, taken completely at random and bypassing any protections.

If everyone votes for a person (except for that person obviously) the votes are considered LOCKED.

-Recap:
> 51% on A -- A gets executed
> 63% on A and B (B just got a vote) -- NO EXECUTION
> 75%+ on A and 51% on B -- A executed, then B executed
> 75%+ on A and B (A = B or A > B) -- A executed, then B executed.

Night Lists
As per your role, send me a list of names. They must be sent to me BEFORE the 7:30PM Time stamp. Lists are read in the following categories, and within the categories in the order recieved (unless otherwise stated):
* Protector
* Night Kills
* Dreams
* Others

Please note that you may CHANGE your list at any time you wish, however, if you do change it, your list goes to the back of the order. Remember that you can send a list ANY time during that cycle (unless otherwise stated).

It will help me (organizationally) to include your role name & "Night #" in the subject of your PM.

Ex: "Werewolf MC - Night 1"

Special Powers/ Shields
There are no Shields in this game.
There may or may not be Special Powers in this game. Special Powers cannot be revealed UNTIL all of its uses has been expired. If you're unsure whether or not you can PM me before hand.

I am here as well. It will be interesting to see how well this round of Werewolf goes, and I am looking forward to playing it with everyone!

I feel pretty stupid with the first sign-up riddle. I originally couldn't even figure out what the first riddle WAS (I was all, "the answer is... ABC? oO;"), but then I eventually figured it out. Going along with that, what do you all think about the 'Lost numbers'? Will they be used more in the game?

Maybe we can get a special prize if we finish the game and are the same age as one of the numbers. I'm 15! =D

The Lost numbers are from the television show Lost. Curly was afraid of them, they were written on the hatch and have to be entered into the computer every 108 minutes
