We have possums. If every New Zealander had a loaded gun, and hit a possum with every bullet, we still won't have quite killed them all...

I have possums in my backyard, but they are nice and most of them are babies. The mother doesn't seem to be around that often. {Probably because my mother started feeding the babies a while ago and she realized that she wasn't exactly needed maost of the time. ;P}

My pet fishes can flip and die. :P

Ditto, at least my former pet fishes. They all (30 of them or so) got eaten by raccoons over the years. They did know how to protect themselves when we forgot to refill their water though...

After maybe the first 10 wouldn't you do something about it...

Everytime the raccoon chewed off the hose, we fixed it, but it just came back and chewed it again. I also tried telling my dad to call an exterminator too, but he wouldn't.

Our cat has a very scary ability - scratch it in a certain place just below the tail and it will start licking anything near it. It will continue to do it for as long as you scratch. Sounds cool but is very, very freaky. I just dont think it's natural!

My horse (Smoky, who is a butterball right now), can drink liquids from a glass bottle (like a glass coke bottle... ) umm he also knows how to undo himself from a quick release knot, and he knows how to pretend that he's lame so that he wont' be ridden when he sees me walk by with a saddle (but i've got his number!).

My dog Luke (a german shepherd) knows how to open the fridge, and the freezer. He knows how to open our cubboards as well. To be honest, I don't know how he does it, we've only see him with his head stuck in them. But he's smart enough to not do that when we're around now.
He also knows that if Gretals (our other dog) is on my parents bed, in his spot, that if he picks up her tennis ball and drops it down the stairs, she'll bound after it and hop up onto the bed.

My old horse Sargent, took me home one day after my heart stopped, started, stopped, and then started again... and I was pretty dazed. Normally he ran home, or tried too... but when he got into the yard he was basically going at a snails rate. He got many treats for that.

One of my budgies (TJ) now deceased, used to speak profanities (my brothers fault).

Evisceration is a sign of respect.
