I'd just like to say, for the record: GO PIXAR!

Anyhow, it's about time the little guy gave it to Disney. It's pretty sad when you have to buy out the "competition" to save your heineken. HOWEVER, I must say that Disney was pretty smart, as they no longer have to worry about what I like to call "The Land Before Time Syndrome."

How many STV sequels have they bled to death, over and over? 11! Or, "XI," to be PC. Ahh, but they aren't done there. No way. Wait until the debut of the TELEVISION SERIES of the same name and premise.

Whatever. You get where I'm going. By the by, I'm new here. Nice little place ya' got goin' here.

They call me "DM SALAD." Ron White, forever, baby!

Ha, I love "Land Before Time" although the sequels were a bit too much.

OH NOES ANOTHER DM! <_<
And...you're like my twin! You like Ron White! o_o;;

I liked the Land Before Time too. As Ammer said, the sequels were too much.

EDIT - ...just saw your interests. FIRE! :o
This makes this whole another DM thing even creepier. XD

Yeah. Creepy.

I've already got my tickets to go see good ol' Tater Salad. He'll be here in July.

Hey, I'm not bashing LBT, I was just commenting on the many, MANY sequels Disney has done, and not only with that franchise. Perhaps I should have said, "Straight to Video Syndrome."

Uh, "The Land Before Time" isn't Disney, it's Universal.

Great point.

BUT

Give me a break. I haven't seen "TLBT" since '88. In fact, I was five when it debuted.

Pretty interesting with this whole Pixar thing. I recently read that Disney was actually trying to force them out of business or to give into their demands (though that's not completely correct I don't think, I'll have to find the article again) by creating a new animation studio called Circle 7 (I think that's the name.)

This Circle 7 was actually making the storyline to Toystory 3, which was complete...but with Circle 7 gone the Toystory 3 script was scrapped and now we have to wait for them to write a new one.

But yeah, go Pixar. They're now in charge of all of the major animation. It helped negotiations on their side when Eisner finally left Disney.

Interesting fact about the original LBT movie:

Steven Spielberg directed it, and the music was done by Diana Ross.
