For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Some people like to actually try to figure things out without being told the answer with absolutely no effort at all. I refuse to use things like that unless they're actually a huge part of the competition. ;)

I would rather lose, than win with a solver telling me the answers, feeling like I accomplished nothing.

I only use it when it gets to the long words like 'Puss Griddlecake'. :(

Part of the reason I banned nonsensical phrases. With a solver, you're guaranteed to get phrases that don't make any sense, like Puss Griddlecakes.

Yeah?

I'm trying to think of what the last challenge should be, but I've got a good bonus round to fill the time. Starting now. Does anyone know a little game called... 20 Questions?

Today, while I was at a restaurant, I saw a celebrity. It's your job to figure out who it was. By celebrity, I mean any movie star, political figure, famous person from the news, ANYONE who a lot of people would know. (S)he even had his/her entourage there. The scoring will start at 10000, and decrease by 500 after every question, for a maximum of 20 questions. You can PM your answer to me, but you only get 2 guesses. Everyone who PMs the answer to me does NOT recieve an elimination point. Have fun!

BTW, here's a hint. If you know where I live, you'd know that there was some type of festival in town this weekend, in which this particular person spoke, sang, or did whatever.

Is s/he black or white? (Not trying to be racist :P)

Male, adult, black, black turning white.
