Unfortunatly when you lend out stuff for these avatars, you run the risk of losing them to people whether it's accidental or something like that situation. You willingly gave the person the item for that amount, anyone who would help you out in support would see it that way unfortunatly.

I neomailed him.. Probably won't do anything, but I felt bad.

i am sorry to hear that but you obviously took a risk. the same old cliche; if you can't afford to lose it, don't lend it. i have been hearing lotsa such cases recently too. don't be too ashamed your trust was betrayed, i was also scammed similarly in the past for been too trusting. got to learn the lesson..

That is a really scummy thing to do; they obviously wanted to take advantage of your low collateral and gain a (huge) profit.
There really isn't anything much you can do, other than Neomail them from a spare account and try to talk them into giving you the doll back.
You did learn a lesson from this, in any case; you really should only lend rare items to people you trust completely.

Try scaring him from a different account... Say that if he doesn't return it, he will get frozen for sure, that that is the way tnt works.
