i'm getting really annoyed... its taking at least 20 seconds or more to load a page!

the avatar chat isn't doing anything... is it changing for you?

I ditto that, its lagging like heck for me, how am I supposed to do anything?

Well, it's a Sunday night, which means that if there is any Support staff, it's just one person. By tomorrow, this glitch will miraculously cure itself, so.. Don't hold your breath.
