If NP's werent an issue, what specific thing would you buy?

Illusens Staff or Wand of the Dark Faerie. Also, you couldn't make a battle set of the best weapons in Neopia with 500 mil. A super attack pea alone was over 300 mil last time I checked... an insane amount of money. I think they're overrated, though. I'd much rather have the attacking/healing/blocking/reflecting power of the wand or staff (I'd like both, but 500 mil wouldn't cover that either ).

I agree with the Illusen's Staff. I've been slowly, one at a time, taking quests to try and get the staff. I might not be getting it anytime soon, though, as I'm trying t omake sure I get it. It's gonna get real hard, though. :/

And I'd definitely want the interest from the rest. It wouldn't actually be all that much, but it would still be nice, and I could probably pay for training every day, too, just from it.

ETA: Gee... now I can't decide, looking at the wand... :/ Perhaps I'll get one, save up interest, and buy both?

It certainly wouldn't stop me on neopets. Hehe. There's too much other stuff to do that would be so much more possible being wealthy.

If it were 12% interest, you'd get 60,000,000 from 500 mil. That's what the calculator says. o.O So It would be possible to buy paintbrushes, collections and everything you want off of the interest alone!

-Faerie, Royal, Maraquan, and Darigan paintbrushes (one for each pet)
-Many many many many (Darigan) Peophin morphing potions (because of the lab ray on my main pet).
-that Sword of Sardskin (sp?) in the Hidden Tower

LOL. I just realised, I did the maths right, but it IS unleralistic - that's yearly, not daily. XD

I guessed the interest, because if it goes up in .5's it would probably be about 12.5% per year.
Also, if you had 500mil, chances are you'd get the highest you could.

Hee. Not to discourage you, but the chances of earning a staff or the wand are extremely slim. I know of one guy who has both, but he has a huge r99 gallery with almost every r99 in the game. That's pretty much the only way to go, because it's very hard to get even Illusen round 35's r99 item within the 16 minutes, and to do that 16 times (22 for Jhudora)? Practically impossible. Often there will just be one of the item on the TP and the seller is not online, or the item is way too expensive, or -- and this happens rather often -- the item Illusen/Jhudora asks for is announced in the news but not actually released, so there's no way you can get it. We had a thread about this at IDB and basically determined that if you want to have any kind of shot at all at earning one of these prizes, you need:

- almost every r99 in the game (at least 400 of them), or:
- a LOT of luck and at least 20 mil pure NP to start with (bare minimum)

Actually, there are about 1500 R99 items in the game, last I checked. I always thought it would be awesome to make billions of NP on an R99 gallery by repeatedly doing Illusen/Jhudora quests, replacing the items asked for, and then selling the prizes.
