Charts updated... sorry for not updating for 3 days... but it seems periodic motion is returning! Remember to press the refresh button and to read the caption under each chart =)

Btw, I just thought of something to go against the restock change conjecture. The restock change happened at around the 9th or 10th of June. The Eo's price did not begin to drop until the 20th... over a week's delay.

I almost pity the hoarders because prices are still dropping XD Back in 1929, many stock holders tried to ride out the panic... when they finally realized it was depression, it was way too late...

Have TNT increased the chance of finding Codestones?

Probably, I've found four in the past hour. I dunno, it might have to do with the whole 'premium' thing. So who knows.

Hmm no, I don't think it has anything to do with Premium. That only gives some extra REs-by-email (depending on use of the portal and SSW), not regular ones. I also haven't noticed more Codestones myself, and I've been on Premium since last year.

Maybe it was just a really lucky day. I have premium too and it seems they've stopped giving out those neopoint extras :( Who knows.

Project updated!

Remember to read all 4 conjectures!
http://www.neopets.com/~ChiaSnite

Then vote for each of the 4 conjectures in this thread... say;

"I vote for Conjecture A" or b, c, or d...

Or you can say "The project shouldn't stop yet" =D

I'd say B or C. Little events just don't have that much effect on an economy of millions.

I'm not sure continuing the project with just one item is very useful. Maybe you could pick a few items from each major category to see what the Neopian economy in general is doing.

Also, try getting data from Premium members. Just one click on the SSW and you have the average of the ten lowest prices for an item.

Prices for rarer/more expensive items seem to fluctuate wildly though. Try tracking the prices of books or weapons in the 20k-200k price bracket for example.. :o

Did anyone get a message like this yesterday...July 3?

Price Changes
Yes, the Neopian Shops always check their prices against the SWA* just to see if they are charging too much, or too little. If they find the prices of the items in their stores are too high, they will reduce them accordingly. This page shows you a list of the recent price changes.

I copied and pasted the chart if anyone's interested.

Major update, with a new leading theory. Read up on the theory and discuss your ideas/opinions here.

Yep, it's the war rumors again. If anything even remotely special happens on Neopets, bam, there are rumors about a new war. *glares angrily at Battledomers inflating Codestone prices*

Have you checked out ImproveNeo yet? They're a big project gathering prices of all Neopian items (the buyable ones at least). Here's the pricing info for Eo Codestones.
