Looks like it's back to normal to me. Nothing different.

False alarm, I guess

Edit: Is it just me or does it look like the map is new?

It's just you.

I was having issues loading it earlier today, but it worked fine just now.

Oh... It looks a little crisper to me. o_O

Now that you mention it, the city DOES look a little "crisper" than usual...

Aha! So I am not crazy!

Nope, you aren't. I believe that it looks slightly different for me too. Another hint: the flash map had to load when I vistited the page. I visit it daily, so it should be in my cache like the others and not take as long to load. Right?

Not necessarily. The cache has a limited amount of space and it also sometimes empties out for one reason or another. When I looked at it earlier, I didn't see anything noticiably different so I think it's in your head.

You could consider the fact that we are more observant... :battar:

So what exactly is different to those of us less observant? "Crisper" is hardly a good description of what's changed.

If I had to pin it down, I would say that the colors on the shop stalls are a little different. I could be wrong, though. :>

You're not, I definitely noticed it as well.

Y'all aren't crazy. I went to Sakhmet City right after reading the replies here, and I noticed that there really is a slight difference. You can barely tell. It's one of those things where you notice a difference about something, but you just can't put your finger on it. It's weird. o_O

I think the tiny figures on the screen have changed; either positions or in numbers or... I'm not sure. Something looked different to me, too, though.

It makes sense that that is why the city map and only the city map was down. Everything else was still accessible. The only thing that was down was what many of us think was changed. It's not too uncommon for TNT to shut down a map for a period of time and upgrade the map. So boo on you that think I am crazy! :loser: :P

Or we're all just agreeing with each other because one person (in this case ryan.riverside) said something was different. Anyone experienced with psychology out here remember Asch?

Funny. The only problem is that I am not an OVERWHELMING majority of people that are thinking this. I am just a minority. If you think that I have the same influence as a 99% majority, I thank you! :battar:

Nope, sorry, I'm an English and Anthropology student. Maybe I look for patterns too much then? ;) It is the big error of human nature to see things we want to see... Hehe.

I now, it's not exactly the same... still, I think there's something to be said for one person saying he sees something, then the other person agreeing, the other one too, and so forth. Then again, the first reaction you got (from DiscordantNote) was a negative one, so I'm probably just reading into it too much. I mean, the colours seem crisper to me as well.
