i'd like everyone to please follow the example

I would also would inform you that ventrue and malkavia do not get along that good, so you might think that over.

in your trait, you have a 1, a 2 a 3 and a 4 capacities, and you may choose to add ONE point to one of them as you chosen 2 basic abilities.

sorry i'm being picky, but i really want this organised as hell (organisation freak)

ok good. now everyone. i want you to do the same for your characters, and i don't want a clan with 2 players yet. thank you ^^

LilEdit: Merged posts. Cleaned thread somewhat.

I've got a question about these introductory rules that I haven't been able to find an answer to anywhere inthe document: When you get a discipline at basic or advanced level, do you get all of the powers mentioned in them? Also, by now, it would be nice if Anime_Queen would drop a line. Actually, she's the one who has to decide these things if she's goingto be Storyteller, no?

Mon Aug 21, 2006 6:47 pm

When you get basic, you get all the basic abilities, when you get advanced, you get all the abilities

about anime_queen, she dropped me a pm
she has no experience whatsoever, as all of us do.
since i'm a GC, i'll be the storyteller.
Anime_queen, i'd like you still to participate, ok?

Mon Aug 21, 2006 6:59 pm

Ok... good to know that. I was just about to send Anime_Queen a mail, but apparently, it's been taken care of. So, I'm still looking for a character. Friendly independents alright? Also, are we all just rogues, or can we be part of the Prince's Court, fulfilling a function?

you can be anything you want to be, as long as it has any sense, you being a vampire (thinking of a vampire life guard  )

Abot the clans, please stick to the camarilla, as it would be very confusing for independent or sabbat to interage with camarilla

Just checked - the basic rules only cover Camarilla Clans anyway. I was thinking of maybe going for an Assamite Scourge (The Prince's assassin), but apparantly not.

Remember, the Camarilla is a political organisation, moreso than a gathering of clans. While the seven clans listed make up it's main body, there are Kindred (vampires) from other clans who have joined the Camarilla as well. I can appreciate you wanting to limit players to those seven clans - even if only for the fact that the rules don't cover the others, but does picking one of those seven clans automatically make us a part of the Camarilla? Or can we choose to be, for example, an independent Brujah at the start of the game and then join (or not) later on? Also, what city are we playing in?

Also: about your sig: I liked the Poe joke much better! :)

i'll be sure to honnor you with some fights between you and them then

but you gotta admit that it would only make sense you being one of them, if anyone else were the prince, and that is considered too powerfull

Mon Aug 21, 2006 7:29 pm

What city are we playing in? And no, not necessarily... you can just be an out-of-towner, who presents himself to the Prince, and is, in essence, a guest in the Prince's city, or just a very newly created and abandoned Kindred who has never even heard of the Sabbat and the Camarilla, or even the fact that there are different Clans.

i think miamy would do the trick...
or maybe those places where the sun doesn't shine for like 30 days
but i'm opened to sugestions

Mon Aug 21, 2006 7:46 pm

Miami is cool, and do we have to do anything for the prince? He probably aready has enough Malks.

Mon Aug 21, 2006 7:51 pm

Well, Miami doesn't sound bad. Lots of action. Except, that, 'realistically', the city is under Sabbat control. It's your choice whether we overlook that. Some other Sabbat cities: Mexico City, Detroit, and Montreal. New York, Washington, Buffalo, and Atlanta are contested, so probably a little too much action. How about something in like Boston, or even London? Still, this is only info from the 3rd edition book, and you can choose to overlook anything you want.

Mon Aug 21, 2006 7:58 pm

How about Los Angeles or San Fransisco?

Mon Aug 21, 2006 7:58 pm

i thought miami because of the nightlife.
i think we're going with miami, let's pretend we didn't know there were sabbat kindreds there.

i hate bein a pain, but i have to say this again: before thinking all the aspects over, please finish your files!

oh and by the way, i'm changing my character to be the prince, so there's going to occur some modifications on rauven

Mon Aug 21, 2006 8:00 pm

Darn, does that mean I have to hate the prince if he is Venture?

Mon Aug 21, 2006 8:11 pm

NEW RULE
When you do your description, It has to give some inside view on your character. it has to be meaningful. tell us what you did when alive, but don't prolong the pending issues to your dead, instead use them to your benefict as a vampire. i think you should fill at least 5 lines
