So does anyone know when you will be invited to the Chocolate Ball, if in fact you're invited? I read last year that you should have lots of good chocolate items in your inventory in order to be invited. Is that true? There doesn't seem to be much info on it on the various fan web sites. o_O

You don't get invited to the chocalate ball it's just an event like the Usuki Con or Pet Days, they release chocalte items and other related things on that day.

There was an article in the Neopian Times last year about it and it talked about it (unfortunately, I couldn't find it the other day). Was it just a joke? It didn't seem like it (I'll be quite upset if it was). Plus, there was a little article, I think on PPT, that mentioned that the prizes for it weren't as good as they used to be. Perhaps if you know what to do, there's more to it than just any other day that new things are introduced????

Articles are written by players, not TNT, and are entirely made up if they aren't game guides and such. There's nothing more to it then what you see in the news.

Well, gosh. I'm going to go search in the Neopian Times some more to try and find the article I mention. It wasn't written as a story, like fiction, it was written like a guide. I can't believe TNT would publish it if it was all just totally false. I'm pretty sure it was in the Neopian Times . . . though it was a year ago that I read it. o_O

I'll see if I can find out more.

That would make it sound too much like gaia online, or neos old plot 'usurper'.

Wow, thanks so much for finding that. I think it's the one. I had just joined Neopets in August last year, so I was very much a newbie. It's quite disappointing that TNT would publish something that sounds pretty "real" (like a real guide). If that person could get that published, I think just about anything should be publishable.

Ha ha - Gondra I like your idea. A good story starter.
