if you look closely they are using silverwere but in others they are using chopsticks

but the chef should know what he made and it counterdicts what other people say o_O

It appeared just about the time when the first post about it being in the desert was made.

& My two cents on the whole it being in two places at once thing...
Simple ftp mistake... they probably upload a "TCG Plot" folder of world maps each time it appears/disappears, and they accidentally forgot to not upload the old faerieland one.

My four cents on the Lost Desert Sunrise tile... doesn't have to do with it being there because she lost it way before them arriving there. There's one for mystery island, but not faerie land. If it is connected, then we can look forward to the terror mountain (but the tile doesn't really look like terror mountain?) or brain tree appearance.

& Anyone else notice we now know what her position on the ship is? Haha... Kou-Jong Guru.

Good point. I wonder if part of de-mystifying this is trying to find the one true thing in each person's story, then piece it all together for the full truth, detective-style? That would at least be more interesting to me.

I agree. A mystery/decetive thing would be cool. I also wish that they made an avvie for the first 10,000 or so people who found the ship when it lands every so often.

Has anyone tried to take apart each story and list inconsistencies as opposed to things that are the same in all the stories?

I think that the captain was referring to the world where they are from and a great distrust for outsiders. Also, the inconsistencies are maybe to make more realistic. If 10 people see a crime happen there are going to be different perspectives based on the persons on bias. So some of the gaps could be useful but more than likely it is just a perspective from their point of view.

In Chef Bonju's story, Linae looks like she's really enjoying what she's eating, but then in Linae's story, she looks unsure, and says she was whispering about how bad the food was.

Yeah. I'd been on the site for a little over an hour before the ship appeared (when I did my dailies, it certainly wasn't there), and as soon as I saw the news had been updated, I searched for the ship. A few minutes later, I found it, and a few minutes after that, I posted here.

So, at 5:47 forum time (which I think was actually 10:47 NST time), I posted, and I'd guess that the ship couldn't have been there for longer than 10-15 minutes or so.

Did Chef Bonju see Linae as enjoying the food JUST because he was proud of it, and expected them to like it?

That's what I assume. It seems from Linae's comic that she never shared her dislike of the food to Bonju, and he certainly seems to take great pride in his craft.

However, in the Captain's recollection, Linae's scarfing the food down. I was actually under the impression she got into some sort of eating contest with another crew member given the mannerless way she seemed to be eating (one crewmate was even glaring at her, I think), and her comment today threw me completely off-guard. o_O

Edit: Or maybe she was on a dare. :lol:
