I've had several cats in the past that climb Christmas trees... With one of them, we had to tie the tree to the wall in several places so if it fell over, it would only lean until we came to rescue it. My cat now, Lucy, she eats the tree. We find branches all over the house, and she spits up needles the whole time we have the tree in the house. The bottom foot of the tree becomes really bare by the time Christmas rolls around.
Meet Numi, the cutest beagle in the world. =) (Not that I'm biased or anything.)

Okay, here's some more pictures.

This is Spangle. She's old (about 15-16 years!) and fat, and most of what she does is lay on anything soft (which inclues people) and purr. She's the best.

And these two are Spike (left) and Chloe (right). We're not entirely sure what mix of breeds they are, but Spike is for sure part Rhodesian Ridgeback. They're also lazy, and Spike likes to burp.

This is my dog, Sam, who I also like to call Sammy, Sambo, Sammers, and Mr. Sammy.
This is one of my favorite pictures of him - he loves getting tummy rubs, and when he rolls over on his back his gums flap back and his face gets all smushed like in this picture.

This is Karla, the new dog. She's stolen Lukes bed, and I kinda hate her. But she's cute and adorable, which makes her hard to hate.
This is Gretal in a hat. Gretal wanted to join the Mounties, but was declined due to her predisposition of being too nice.
This is Luke. Luke passed away in March, but he was my shadow and my protector and I miss him dearly. I think he's still out there somewhere, watching over my shoulder, glowering at my boyfriend.
This is one of my GP's Sushi. She's a belly pig.
These are my horses, Smoky and Sargent. They're fluffy.
This is Fugu, she's very cute, and very brave. She likes to think she's bigger then my dogs. And then Karla tried to eat her. Now she likes to hide.
This is a much better photo of Luke. Wasn't he lovely? That was his bucket. He was guarding it. Silly buckethead.
These are my horses. You can tell which one is the idiot by the way he's rubbing his face. Smoky is much smarter (and fatter) then Sargent. Smoky was abused and Sargent has navicular.
Sargent is the second in a line of Sargents. These two photos are of Sargent 2, Sargent one was a darker palamino. I also have birds and fish, but since i'm terrified of birds, and I take sucky pictures of fish; no photos.

Evisceration is a sign of respect.
A photo of my cat,Lionel.
And here's the URL to another picture of him a week after we-em-Dad found him.
