My alert on firefox will not flash. It flashes on IE. Someone at neopet should be able to figure out why it isn't working for firefox. I myself think it is having trouble getting the blue gem to refresh to the yellow gem. The first time I got a prize I was using firefox and noticed the gem blink as if it was trying to refresh itself.

Mine just started flashing on firefox, but i got the August 16th message (which has been there forever) saying she's left the building!

The time is random thoughout the day. About 3 or 4 times a day. I haven't notice it co-incide with the news before.

Mine flashed, but it said she'd already left the building, and I clicked it while it was still flashing. I refuse to switch to IE just for that.

Mine has flashed on firefox quite a few times already, but it always says she has left the building....

lol This event has made me realize how intently I do things. haha When I do anything, whether it's playing a game or reading a forum, etc., I'm focusing so much on whatever it is I'm doing, I don't notice that little blinkie until Tarla's left. :/ I've just missed her quite a few times. lol

Ugh, I missed it twice today due to mapping stupid constellations. But I scored one anyway for 500np. I don't collect plushies, and I don't think it's particularly cute..but I wanted it anyway.
