I was on Neo, then no pages would load.

I rebooted, now I can't even enter the site. :x

DOUBLE EDIT (many frustrating hours later):

It appears that Neopets is not working for those of us in Australia. Weird.

Everything is working now, please ignore.

I had no problems yesterday or last night. Only 1 stupid ad that kept popping up on top of my pages.

I just can't get any page to load on Neo.

When I go to Jellyneo, some of the Neo images are red X's.

Yah, just a couple hours ago, I clicked to enter a WC at the last 1/4 hour and flipped out 'cause neo was totally down for like 15 minutes on my end, nothing loaded, and one time when things did my shop till page told me I didn't have a shop and to click to create one. I never did get to enter but that is fine because I could not play in time anyway. All is fine now. Hopefully they are uploading Altador plot prizes? Or someone just spilled Meepit juice on the servers? :P

It's been on the whole time for me.. I live in New Zealand.. do you think it can maybe be down for some countries at certain times and not others? Like only some of the servers go down or something?

Have you checked to see whether or not you might have blocked Neo's cookies? I say that because I did that once, accidentally, of course.

I have searched through everything I can think of, but as far as I can tell, Neopets is not blocked on my computer.

But I still cannot get connected. I did do a disk clean-up and did delete some stuff. But I cannot work out why I am unable to view Neopets. :x

Has anyone got any suggestions on what I can do?

Um well neo was just down for me like that, how long has it been? It is JUST neo or all the Internet? If the latter, sounds like it could be an infection, if you didn't change anything. Check it out and report back.

It is only Neopets that I can't access.

I have run my virus checker, ad aware, anti-spyware and have pop-up blocker.

I have no virus or such.

When I was checking my Firewall, I remember deleting some sites that I didn't recognise.

Neopets is enabled on all other programs.

So it must be the sites that I deleted has removed files that I need.

Now, with that information - how can I rectify my problem?

I am not sure what you mean by 'neopets is enabled on all other programs'? What programs (other than your browser) use neopets? If you changed your cookie settings, simply go to Internet Options > Privacy > Sites to add neopets.com. Otherwise I definitely need more information other than "neopets just doesn't load." If that were the case, wait and the longest I have seen them off is that full 15 minutes and I play all day every day for 2 years, more so today since I was in WCs.

If not, then is likely your issue, probably settings, browser, or spyware.

EDIT: If you suspect something bad, check thisrecent thread where someone had some stubborn malware, take those precautions/steps and instant message me almost anywhere if I can help further.

A poor choice of words. I am frustrated.

Neo is allowed in my Internet Options.

Neo doesn't load. Simple.

"Internet Explorer cannot display the page"

I have googled Neo and clicked on a link and it still wont load.

I have used Firefox and Neo still wont load.

The connection has timed out

The server at http://www.neopets.com is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I have turned off my Firewall and Popup Blocker and have set every Security Level at minimum. Neo still wont load. :x

Huh, very curious indeed. Will neo load in any other browser?

Might be from too low history/cache/temp internet file allowance? (rare)

Sometimes set to zero days or too few MB ironically can cause timeouts.

Otherwise, a firewall setting maybe? But then you could not likely Google anything.

Well I will keep thinking. Instant message me anyway if you find something suspicious. Otherwise, good luck and let us know how goes.

EDIT: Oops, sorry, I see you mention you tried turning off firewall. I hope you meant temporary and only Windows firewall. I would not recommend having many conflicting ones if you don't know how to use them, but I also would not recommend taking the default Windows firewall off for long.

Yep, I am onlly running Windows Firewall. :)

I am just getting another scan by Panda. As soon as it is finished all security settings are going back up as well as the Firewall.

Thankyou for you help and support, Anjuna.
