(Okay, so this is my first post here, I hope I'm at the right section now.)

I'm currently trying to make a gallery/museum dedicated to what I would like to call "Historical Items" that has played some part of the changing Neopia this far.
The items are such that can be found in plots, used by characters, or just retired items that once have played relatively big part of Neopia.
Now this is a pretty wide subject, so I'm going to give you some examples of what types of objects I am looking for:
The Wedding Ring used in the LDP (I belive)
The Statues used before to acess Mystery Island.
The Pirate Captains Cutlass used by a character in the Maraqua plot.

Let's take Pirate Captains Cutlass for an example.
We don't know if this was his weapon, but it sure looks like it and it did belong to a captain, so that makes it valid to me. :)

I'm not only looking for expensive items, if you've seen a character wear a type of armour, weapon, eating some type of food etc. I'd put that on the list as well. Even the smallest details would be great :)

So I need your help to make a good list of items that has been used in plots or through Neopias history. I'm asking to buy the items from you, just to get help with the list.

If you have any ideas, please post the items name, the use of the item and if it was in a plot, who used it.

Oh, and I'm not going to put TCG's on the list, so no need to post them ;)

Thank you in advance :)

You dug it up. You dug, and dug, and dug, and dug, and dug...

Are the weapons obtained after completing the LDP tradeable? If so, you should get those.

The sand had two parts one in the temple of 1000 tombs one of the traps turned your active pet into a pile of sand . The second and more memorable reason was that we had to move 104,034 piles of sand to clear the Scroll Repository from the sandstorm it had been burried in

But then the users of neopets were the ones who used that item.
I'm more looking for items used by characters, when it comes to plots.
Like in the Altador plot, the "Astronomy Club Membership Badge" is not one of the items that I will put in the gallery.
But if any character used the sand in the plot, then sure :)

If your counting plots and such. In one MPic a long time ago the prize was a Neopets V2 Mug. So that goes along with the whole Virtupet plot and such, but a problem might be since it was a Mpic prize only like 500 or so exists or something(might be higher or lower).

Good idea, the "Neopet V2 Coffee Mug"?
To bad it's 10 mil on the trades.
Would be a bit better to start off the gallery with some easier objects, but I'll definately put that on my list ^_^

But that would be a bit weird. I mean, shouldn't that bird be considered a character? It would feel a bit akward if I was to have, let's say, the Tiki-tack Man in my gallery :P

Haha, you keep arguing with everybody and you're not going to get many suggestions. ;) Usually items related to plots are used by us, not the characters (think of the tobago potion we had to use to free Jhuidah, for example, or the weapons that we used to strike the killing blow on Razul). If you just want stuff characters have used, you're going to have a pretty small gallery. And an expensive one -- that cutlass alone is 16 mil. ;)

The "arguing" is just to specify what type of list I'm making :)

I guess I should clearify my idea a bit :)
Items such as the Tobago Potions, are great suggestions. They were used and they had a big role in the plot.
But the sand, it doesn't feel like it was such a big matter, I mean you had to dig it up, but the sand itself was just a biproduct, you didn't use it for anything... Or did you?

And for the items used by characters; I'm not really looking for the rare and expensive items, as I said, just food that someone ate in a plot would do great.

Because there will be a description of each item and what it was used for, and if you saw King Kelpbeard's guards eat mouldy cheese, I would consider it to fit in the category.

Hmm, I wonder if that makes it any easier to understand :)

Well if you're lucky enough to find Chia Flour or Eraser of the Dark Faerie, good luck. :p

I'll put them on the list in the meanwhile :)
May I ask when and by who were they used? :)

How could anyone forget the Foreman's Cudgel. :roflol:

He always carried one and threatened to whack us with it.

We were able to buy it as a LDP prize.

Both were Hidden Tower items, and if I remember right they were both popular and unpopular. The Chia Flour is one use in the Battledome and when used in a two player you an throw it at your opponent and changes it to a Yellow Chia, so if you have a nice LE pet, then it was annoying.

Eraser of the Dark Faerie, I don't remember it lasting long in the Hidden Tower. When used in two player, it erases your opponent's items. Forever. If I remember right, this is what happened to an old Battledome user (Hynfaerie?) that caused her(?) to lose battledome items and thusly self freezing. If anyone can correct me on this please let me know. Last I heard it was in the millions.

Anyways, other stuff. I used to have a Toxic Sludge Haggis from the NeopetsV2 plot, but unfortunaly I don't have it anymore since it was downgraded. Very expensive and hard to sell battledome item.
