The symbols on the map look alot like one of the new flashcards. Maybe we're supposed to do something with them? I mean they did come out on the same day.

From the map, it looks to me like Hoban planned to jump ship where the X is, most likely using the storm for cover to make it seem like he fell overboard, then float on a piece of debris/small boat or whatever and rendezvous with someone at the circle, someone coming from that island, or then going to that island following the dotted line.
I'm sorry, did someone already say that? Or is it a totally stupid idea all together? I don't know cuz I'm very tired right now.

Anyway I thank you guys for posting the map. I sincerely hope we don't eventually have to do something with that map, like some part of it becomes clickable or something. Because I can't see it on the site and I can't figure out why. :?

btw, I think I've missed it somewhere, but what's the name of the quasi-crew member that's in the exotic foods, the red nimmo?

If that were the case, though, wouldn't he have taken the map with him when he lef the ship?

Or am I overthinking this?

I can't see it either other than the hard to see picture in the room. When I click on the map there is a brief description but not a close up of the map.

I think the Storm was caused by the Restoratives guy.
the desk map is pointing to a detour on the route of the shipand the ship takes exactly the same course after one point
what he could have done was make the ship had that detour so they ended in KI instead of MI as intended.

(sorry if anyone already said it, i don't come here since thread 2... lotsa posts missing)

Please excuse this if somebody already said this but whenever Hoban say he'd sail them into the storm his emotion/expresion is different!?

Could it be that this is a crew-wide conspiracy (everyone but the captain)? They all (or all but Hoban, not sure which) wanted to go to Krawk Island, and Hoban refused because he somehow knew about the storm (or, he was using the storm as an excuse, or he made the storm himself). If they were giving him grief about it at dinner (while the captain was gone) that would explain the remark about him sailing them into a storm, for which we have never been given a good explanation.

Maybe since we're getting maps now, and since the comics were taken away, we're supposed to figure out locations to do stuff which will reveal the mystery and not the other way around. o_O

Well, I've tabbed through Krawk Island, and didn't find anything unusual. Do they usually give a clue in the news when there's something to do?

Btw, I don't think it's a crew wide conspiracy. I think each member is trying to hide something different.

That's the feeling I get as well, like I said earlier if it was a crew wide conspiracy they'd have thought up of corroborating stories so they didn't get caught, this seems more like intertwining but seperate secerets that are now effecting the ship as a whole.

I belive that it's much more simple than that.
During the storm Hoban could easily have gone down to his cabin and draw up the new route. Even during a storm, navigation skills are important. Actually, during a storm, navigation skills are crucial.

Go see the captain, he's got some things to tell you.

Well I'm not sure we're supposed to guess right.
This might just be at trick question.

I can only acess with my side account at the moment, so I'm gnna take a guess and see what happens.

Edit: this is what it says when you made your guess:
Check back in a few days -- perhaps the mystery will finally be solved!

Edit: It shouldn't be G19 where he fell off.
If you make the grid factors, the x and y, to letters and numbers, the G19 would be way off course.

I just made a wild guess, since stuff like this always confuses me. I'll get it wrong anyway xD

You've already made your guess:

Who pushed Hoban? Bonju
When did he fall? 4:00
Where on the ship did he fall? port railing
Where is Hoban now? I22
Do you like Hoban's hat? yes, it's very stylish

EDIT: Where did that "Sponsored by PokemonCenter.com" underneath the banner come from?
