Well, I entered. It's half guessing and half based on many re-reads of the comics, discussion with friends, and my handwritten charts.

Who pushed Hoban? Linae
When did he fall? 5:00
Where on the ship did he fall? aftdeck
Where is Hoban now? I22
Do you like Hoban's hat? yes, it's very stylish

I don't think there's any way to know for sure. Everyone's stories contradict, no one remembers all the times... I'm hoping if we do get some kind of reward (like an avatar), we'll get it for having any one thing right (besides the hat question

).

I don't know how either Anshu or Bonju could have done it. They were both discussing who was arguing with Hoban at 5:00. They couldn't make out who it was - I'm thinking it was the person who pushed him overboard.

Well, that's what Anshu says. Bonju does not mention talking to Anshu at all. He claims that at 5, he was talking to a calm Hoban alone (Hoban complained to him that Linae kept calling him bad luck).

I can't help but to almost "believe" them all now, at least their personal recollection of events. I mean saying "I saw someone at 5" could mean you saw them within the same hour someone else just did, only a little later. Perhaps that is not to be extrapolated here, but the vagueness of the descriptions tends to tell me this was an accident and the last place Hoban is seen, according to my "twisting" of all the comics in my head, is at the end of the storm. Linae sees him, is with him, everyone else meets with him along the way. At the end of the storm, I assume (a grand one, I realize) is when it was most turbulent and when things fell overboard, so did Hoban (a good jab with a knife from Chef's pocket even on accident could have done it, as Chef was closest to Hoban at that point, and again I can only assume that the end of the storm was about 6, since people were apparently still chatting and Hoban sulking during the storm at 5).

It doesn't matter who remembers what happened at what exact time. It matters where Hoban was seen last and with whom?

(In my excited yet humble opinion). :oops:

Since Linae and Hoban are so chummy in the new Beta test game, does that mean that she didn't push him off?

Well, Bonju is there too, with stains on his clothes, so perhaps he didn't push him off either (at least on purpose) - that would ruin my guess.

Ugh, how could no one notice, Captain nor crew, that their very navigator is gone until the next morning after a storm?!

If mutiny wasn't planned, dare I say maybe it should be?! The Captain is clearly incompetent. And the rest of his crew are questionable at best.

Hoban's hat sucks and that is why this plot sucks. Reverse engineering. :roflol:

i think anshu may have drawn this because he is the one that wanted to go to krawk island so maybe he gave this mapto hoban to show that it wouldn't take that much time and then he schemed into that being the point to push him overboard?

For those who disagree Linae helping Anshu... how did Linae know Anshu fixing the leak if she didn't help him? In most of detective stories, the culprit was found guilty because he lied about something...
perhaps Anshu found her help didn't worth mentioning

actually the storm was at night because they were eating dinner and then he was freed the next morning according to the sky in the captains statement

Yea, that's really silly. With such a small crew, how could you miss two people until the next day - Orrin and Hoban. You'd think that after the storm the captain would've assessed things and talked with everyone together as well.
