You can still wack it pretty hard with the underhand, no worries.

You want to be sending it high and to the back of the court (without going out of bounds). Hold the bird by the "round" tip at the front (the cork). Hold your racket behind you to serve underhand. Drop the bird. Swing underhand. Smack it.

Man, this is hard to do with no visual. :P

Sweet. The other stance is how you serve when playing doubles. I hate serving for doubles. Hope this helps!

The way I taught it (I have to teach badminton to lower grades, since I'm the only girl in my class=Only me to teach in the club)until you get used to it, would be well.....
I'd like to know what goes wrong when you hit it........ :oops:
Often, it's because the place you hit the shuttle is too low or your arm is too stiff. If it's stiff, just relax.
Someone tell me if I'm wrong. I know how to do it, not how to explain it.
