Players suck, as characters do what you make them.

My favorite is probably Joanna Dark from the original Perfect Dark. I've not played the newer one yet, because I try my best to avoid Xbox.

Never play the X-Box game. Not only is the gameplay crap, the weapons are bad, so is the story, and they have done their best to make Joanna into a ditz. I also wonder why so looks absolutely nothing like she does in the first game.

Favorite, eh? Hmmmmmmm.... Where to start.... (grouped by game, but in order of which game I think)

Aerith, Tifa, Yuffie, Cloud (for part of the game ), Elena, Rinoa, Selphie, Quistis, Tina (Terra to those of you in the states), Celes, Ryda, Eiko, Freya, Elly, Emeralda, Serephita, BlackRose, Terajima Ryoko, Tsukasa (if you count real world), Marle, Lucca, Ayla, Schala, Kid, Harle, Yuna, Rikku, Ritz, Zelda, Sheik, Malon, Samus, and possibly many more.

To recap:
I like strong female characters, especially in my video games.
Samus is the only one on the list not from a RPG.
Only seven are not Square Enix characters.
Cloud and Tsukasa make the cut for their TG tendencies.
If I had to choose one to shine above the rest, AERITH ( ) would be that one.

My favorite girl video game character would have be Namine from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and KH2. I only ever played Chain of Memories because I don't have a Playstation, but I'm planning on maybe saving up for one sometime in the future.

Helena from Lost Kingdoms. She is wicked awsome.

Though, the main pirate chick form Zelda Wind Waker (shame on me for not remebering her name) is pretty cool.

Ulala from Space Channel 5 I'm so jealous of her dance moves and her awesome stripey pants.

I think Zelda was heaps cooler as Tetra (in Wind Waker) I got so annoyed when she turned all pretty and girly, she was an awesome pirate chick.

Celes and Rikku are my favorites. I have no idea why. It's just that in FFVI, I was always using Celes for some reason. xD And Rikku is plain cool.
