Altador PLOT (Done-Prizes!) [78th Split]
Moderator: Moderators
I got Altadorian Initiate Sword, but I think I'd rather have an altachuck instead.
Oh, everyone thinks I'm crazy, just 'cause I try to warn people about the face-sucking aliens headed for Earth. Yeah, laugh now, have your face sucked off later. When the aliens come, I'll be the only one left with a face, and I'll be using that face to laugh at all of you, even though I'll be sad.

I'm having trouble finding my spellbook room.
I tried reading the walkthrough but the instructions are a little skimpy on the details.
How do I know which room is the right one? Which door am I supposed to click to get to the right room? Do I have to add anything to the link (or at least check the link) to see if I'm in the right room? As you can see, I am beyond confused...
According to the constellation finder I use, these are my sums and spellbook numbers:
# Sums: -930, -132
# Spellbook room: 12, 6
Did they already calculate the sums for me? I tried using a calculator but the numbers came up entirely different.
How do I even know which shelf to click assuming I'm in the right room? I tried checking the link but it's filled with a lot of letters and numbers. Sorry if I'm asking too many questions but I'm just so confused and anxious to finish this darn plot. Help me please.
* Take the SUM of your x-coordinates (Add it as is! If it's negative, subtract).
* After taking the sum, ignore the negative sign if you have it.
* If it is 3 digits or more, take the sum of the digits. If it is 2 digits, LEAVE IT as is. That's your x-coordinate for the room that has the spellbook.
* Repeat for your y-coordinates.

u. Once you have found it, you there are presented with many spells.

Well your spellbook room would be 12 and 6 and yes it has been done for you. After that go to the archives and click a door then in the URL it should show arcx=0 and arcy=0 you have to replace the 0's with your spellbook rooms so it should be arcx=12 and arcy=9. Then you check the shelves you should get around 31 books altogether.
If you misunderstood what I'm talking about just check this guide which helped me finish it.

Ok, now I'm convinced I'm being screwed. I picked up my first prize at like 1am. Then my second around 12pm. Now it is 11:33, then I cleared my cache at 11:35 and tried again, STILL no new prizes.
It's gotta be "reset at midnight" for me, and then not for some of you, AND I'M GETTING SCREWED. *cry*
EDIT: This is so weird, at 11:57 NST, I got my gift, Altadorian Bread.

Yeah it seems to be a midnight reset for me. Yesterday I got my prize at 2 AM, today I tried and got it at 1:30, after midnight but before 24 hours were up. So it must reset at midnight.
All I got was a blue floatsam plushie. >.> Cute but I already have one and it's not worth beans. I want an Altachuck!
