I use my work's computer and home computer to play neopets, have moved jobs twice and homes once, used family computers over the last 3 years and *touch wood* I have not had any problems.

There must be some other reason for them freezing your account.

A snail mail is a letter posted, their address should be available on the neopets site - try under 'contact us'.

The most you can do is to keep filling out the forms, maybe once a week, i suppose you could try snail mail but i dont see how that would be better.

Pateince is key, keep your cool, dont get angry at them, blaming them etc in the forms or letters

Yep, same here. As well as using communal college and library computers. Plus we have 2 separate players in my house.

I agree that there must be some other reason, that you're probably not aware of.

I guess what they say is true... someone might have hacked into my account, I am just very sceptical it would happen to me. I am not the richest, nor do I have lots of items... I dunno AHH!

If you have premium I would just call the premium number for customer service and usually that can work from what I've read.

omg! I finally got my account back!! Yay. At first I was very happy.. but then I went to the bank... and 0np's!!! I had over 300,000. I cried for an hour. And they took all my expensive things like treasure maps! Im so bummed! At least I can continue the plot...

i got banned..

supposedly for "auto buying in a shop"

but then i email them saying what i did and then they make up another reason that i was "associating, buying, neopoints"

yeah.. lost $10 million np at least.. and my prized pets... :(

I have rung the premium number (from australia) every day since and I'm still waiting for any sort of reply.

I got a nice man on the phone last night - Jaime at least he asked for verification and checked the progress of the account - but there was nothing on the database about us for him to share with us, but at least he tried :D

Ahhh......in my opinion, TNT really do not care about their customers at all. I bet no one knows me nor remembers me from Neopets, but I was one of the top 40 trophy holders with 65 trophies including many retired trophies. I was probably the only account that was still active with a gold "Test Game" trophy, which is a trophy shaped like a submarine and a game that was only beta released for a couple of months way back in Year 2 of Neopets. I had hundreds of millions of NP worth of items, probably worth much more today due to inflation. I played for 4 1/2 years. But in the end, TNT froze me for a mistake they could not correct. If anyone remembers the duping incident that happened about 14 months ago (or was it 26 months ago?), many innocent people got banned for buying and using a duped battledome item without knowing so because TNT was careless enough to let such a glitch get through. I was one of those poor victims who thought I got the best deal of my life: a Faerie Slingshot for 2 million NP on the auctions. The first thing I do is equip it on my pet to use it and minutes later, I get frozen. I tried contacting TNT through emails sent everyday but they would never reply. I gave up after a month of trying. Such poor customer service they provide. I find it very unfair that I spent 4 1/2 years playing a game and then gets taken away from me instantly just because TNT feels like it. Sorry for the ranting, just wanted to let people know that TNT really do not care about their customers. In my opinion, once they get your money, they could care less about you anymore because you are just another number to them.

And I just logged on to see how the community on Neopets and here on PinkPT has grown (or shrunk in the case of Neopets obviously). And then I found this topic hence why I just had to reply about my feelings about it. Hope everyone is still enjoying their time on Neopets. :) I know I never will again in my life.

That is such a sad story, I have tears in my eyes, such energy and committment - shattered. I am sure you and I are not the only ones that have succumbed to the inefficient TNT team.

When I rang today (yes again) I was given URL's on the help line that were not working - when finally getting to a live person I was again given inaccurate URL's for the live chat and premium help pages. I feel that if they can't even monitor their own help pages and keep them functional there has to be a flaw in the sytem for freezing and assumptions they make about user accounts.. such as our "one person using many accounts to make neopoints" (something like that)...

Since there are three people in this house using Neopets from the same network it is kinda logical that each account would be making their own neopoints? Have they even looked at this? As far as "proof" goes ... seriously we don't pay two Premium accounts because one person wishes to use the ssw a lot or whatever their premise is for making nps... Seriously TNT check your facts then freeze or at least look at our accounts and submission forms.. it's been 4 days now.. that's 96 hours (at least) and I have not heard a word.

Yes I *had* made a lot of neopoints over the last 15 months .. why? because I played it from the time I awoke til the time I went to sleep.. I can recite all of the answers to the sponser games I played, I dream about doing Dice Escape in my sleep I know the games that made my neopoints so well. I have given things to my son and daughter who aren't quite as skilled nor obessesed as I am. I even used my only ever Fountain Faery quest to make my son's Faery Grundo he wanted it so bad.

The TOS does not say you can't give things to people and the risks involved in transfers - well we took them and it worked out. I am soooooooooo frustrated and I'd only been playing 15 months.

I really feel for you hyper200092. Have you found an alternative to playing Neopets? I am looking for another OCD type game :D It's the only way I can do things sadly.

My account had been frozen for using multiple account too. The wierd thing is that I didn't even use any sideaccounts. I only had an old side account that I hadn't used for over 10 months and 2 older side accounts that I hadn't used in years.

When I asked them what kind of proof they had that I used multiple accounts, they said they couldn't give it to me. They wouldn't even give me the usernames of the other accounts I supposedly used, or any dates etc. How am I suppose to refute that I had multpile accounts, when they won't give me that sort of info?

They did give me my account back, but cut my np in half and unpainted my pirate chomby that was a gift from a friend. Luckily I have the best guild members and they helped me paint my chomby pirate again :)
