Some Fantasy Art (Runes allowed)

Display your creative spirit here in the Pink Poogle Toy Gallery. It can be art... it can be music... it can be a poem (even haiku)... but most of it... it must be you.

This is some of my examples of note taking in class.
And yet I still get a B+ - A- Average. Hate me and fear what would happen if I actually took notes.

They're all masterfully done, as always, Irun. I especially like the second one, the mood is captured so well.

I have a slight problem with the first one, the body looks a little off. I think that the way the charater is sitting his legs look too short. But its still a very nice piece.

The detail in the third a forth pieces are both astounding

If you look at the filename of the first one it says "Sables bad anatomy". I know the anatomy is off in it, but I still liked it enough to semi finish it off. *smiles* I don't think so much that the legs are short, but that the arms are too long. It's really quite messed up, but if I call it my Grand Odalesque, then I feel better about it.
Thanks Moogie! (how've you been? I never see you around anymore!)

Your art never ceases to amaze me. I'm seriously jealous of that talent girl!

Now that you mention it, it is the arms. Don't get me wrong, the piece is still lovely.

And I've been good, i just came back for the first time in months (which is why you haven't seen me)

I'll trade my talent at this, for your talent/body for dancing :)

And yeah, bloody arms. Oh well. This is why I like references, but I had none for that piece.

To me it looks like it's not the arms that are too long, but rather the head is too small. Or maybe the neck's too big. In any case I think the length on the arms is fine, though they are at a bit of an odd angle. If you just look at the top half of the picture, it looks almost as if his arms are behind him and he's leaning back on them.

Sweet. As always, Sandra. I have missed your work in my time away from PPT. *hands inrun a yummy non-gruel cookie* I like the second one the best. Something about it lets me know the feelings of love and protection the male has for the female. EDIT: Took a second look. And maybe a little sadness? Because love isn't all wonderful and pink and stuff. Sometimes there is some bittersweet in it.

Wow, that second one is really amazing.

I wish I could draw; since I can't, I will just sit here and gawk at yours. :o :)

Well... those two characters do have a rather long and sad history with one another, despite being very much in love. It's all really sappy. They're mutants, and he was taken away from her, and they were captured by the anti mutant organization... and yeah. It's all very sad, but they're finally back together after five years apart, and they're quite happy... sorta. Until I ruin their lives again. Not that i'm evil like that. Not at all...
