Is it really possible to access the graveyard with a link if you remember the old name of it. I posted about this on the neoboards to alert the staff and people say it doesn't work, and I am nuts. But you guys said that you got it to work. I am not trying it because I think it is cheating, but I think the staff does need to know that some people are going to have hundreds of points while others are lucky to get one or two points.

It does, it just won't work if you are in a graveyard already. You have to copy the link with the new graveyard name, then exit your current graveyard, otherwise you'll end up in the same graveyard as before.
I just hope that TNT won't freeze anyone for it.

I'm sure (or I hope) they won't, because if they didn't want this to happen, they'd use NEW randomly-generated graveyard names, not all the same old ones.... ^^";;

Ah ha.. so that person wasn't lying after all (I'm back from my starbucks/americas next top model shift)..
I think that's kind of cheating though. In my opinion. Though it is partially the fault of TNT for not using new graveyards.
Maybe that's why the graves are marked so quickly?
I dunno. I don't like the idea of that, and I won't do it. But i'm kinda bored with the whole marking graves as it is.. so meh.

I think if TNT hadn't made so many parts of the plot so incredibly repetitive (particularly the digging graves, testing bones, marking graves part) more people would be interested in it. I mean obviously a lot of people are "interested" in it now, but I think it's more for the 'plot points' rather than genuine interest in the plot. Honestly I would've rather had more to the comic and less of this mind-numbing clicking. I want more plot progression, less NPF.

That does it, I give up! They seriously need to add more cemeteries at one time and a larger time out apparently.

*LOL* i saw some unmarked graves but by the time i moved the step, it's gone

I've got a question. they only released one graveyard at a time, right? what about the remaining ones? does that mean that there may be a grave that is unmarked?

Forget this. I REFUSE to sit here and wait for them to add graves. If I get points reduced by it, then so be it. :x

I bet the spirit of slumber has a funny name. Most of the names on the list are funny. He'll probably be something like Rodsworth Longsfellow or something like that. But it would be even funnier if he was named something like Floofy Lupington or something.

I know, now i know my computer is no slouch, it has a nice dsl and it's clicking happily. So why the hell, do they dissapear between 1 step and another? i understand that alot of people are participating, but why put up 2 small graveyards. Have Yruble come after them if they come back before the new yards show up. Have him guarding the gate and growling at them.

Yes, I agree. It was fun at first.. but it's still going, and it's still.. just.. blah. I understand they want "everyone" to get a chance to mark a grave.. but it's not going to happen. So just end it, and get on with the plot :P If it's not counting towards anything (Which I don't think it counts for plot points.. because that'd be unfair), they should just stop.. Heh.

I kind of liked the digging because I got to see other people's pets. I'd like it if we had a game on neopets where we get together with other people's pets to do something. Maybe like a live action gorm ball or something. They could do it.

I don't know. Yeah things get repetative, but having participated in many plots before it's really not so bad for this reason- if we weren't doing the same thing over and over, we'd be doing nothing. I'm not saying there wouldn't be a plot, but updates usally take a bit of time before each part (they are much faster than they used to be). So now they are filling that time with tasks like this. It may not be as exciting, but it give you the option of waiting for the next part or doing the task. If we didn't have the task to do we'd still be waiting, so at least it's something to do if you are in the mood to fight for it.

Of course that only stands so long as it's something more optional like this... not so much for the scroll finding type things of the desert plot. Those have no point of salvation >>

I am not amused.

Firstly, this section really isn't fair on anyone with a slow connection. It's worse then the money tree, I can refresh every few seconds and get into a graveyeard as soon as it is on my list - and still not find a single blank grave.

Secondly, does anyone else think that this section doesn't actually make sense?

If the caretaker has such extensive records - why can't the group just go through the one graveyard that the bone was found in? I can't see any real explaination as to whywe are going through so many. Fine it may give more users with fast enough connections a chance, but where is the logic?

Exactly. This part makes no sense whatsoever other than to give us Neopets members repetative things to do to keep us busy until the next plot part comes out.

hmmm, this is difficult. if having a fast connection or a slow connection doesn't guarantee you able to mark a grave, then, that'd mean, we're just waiting for the next clue, ain't it?
