Thanks for the advice, Dragonfire!
Rachel, I hope you did really well on your GREs. Now, sit back, have some cocoa, and don't think about them again until you get your scores back.

Applying for college...oh dear lord, don't remind me *hides*
(Senior in HS this year, getting ready to go off to the great land beyond that is COLLEGE)
Oh, it's not that scary! Okay, the applications
are that scary. But college is awesome once you get there. I've been taking some classes at the community college, and it's so much better and more fun than high school that you wouldn't believe it.

The boy who is my friend goes to St. Johns in Annapolis, but is transferring to the New Mexico one next year (though he does love Annapolis, so who knows if he'll actually do that). Anyways I remember well his angst upon having to do all the entrances and whatnot. I feel for you, I really do.
But then, I had to submit portfolios, so I don't feel too badly for you. Portfolios + writing = suck. Note my eloquence? I feel I should apply for St Johns too (HA! yea... right)
Cool! Quick poll: is there a college in the world where I'll never run into someone who's somehow connected to PPT? 'Cause I want to avoid those.
Yeah, the entrance stuff is scary. A good 12 pages of my essays are for St. John's...and I've only actually written 6. But man, my best friend applied to all sorts of art schools last year, and I am still afraid of all the portfolios she had to put together. *hugs*
